I purchased this rice cooker a year ago, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best kitchen investments I’ve ever made. The rice comes out perfect every single time. The rice is fluffy, evenly cooked, and absolutely delicious. What I really love about it is how versatile and easy to use it is. I’ve used it to make porridge, steam veggies, and even try a few experimental recipes. Love the design and color plus it still looks and works like new, even after a year of regular use. If you have high standards for rice, especially from growing up eating it daily, this rice cooker will meet (and exceed) your expectations!

If I am being completely honest, this purchase was made mostly for its aesthetics. It looks fantastic on my counter and matches my kitchen. But once I started using it, I haven’t stopped looking for reasons to keep using it. Not only does it look great, it is fun to use with its integrated voice commands, and jingles, but it makes fantasticrice! And will make your rice in multiple ways and at different speeds depending on your timeframe. I have used it several times in the morning to make oatmeal and it does a fantastic job at both Traditional and steel cut. I have not found anything wrong with it or anything I would change. There are much less expensive rice cookers available, but when you open this and start using it, you will immediately appreciate the quality and fit and finish that was put into creating it. It is an appliance that I am proud to leave on my counter and I know that it will last for many years.

We had a Cuckoo rice before it was given to my husband from his boss.But we left it to our friend because it was EU Plug. We bought an ordinary rice cooker here but it was far different of what we had before. So my husband ordered this rice cooker. Voila! The taste of the rice is so good ! The rice stays fresh up to 72 hours. Easy to use and clean.Just be careful when you open the lid.Over all, it is excellent and the best rice cooker we ever had!

The media could not be loaded. I have been in the market for a cuckoo for quite a while. I wanted a couple main things from this machine. First, I wanted it's main focus to be on cooking amazing consistent rice of all types that can be kept warm for hours to days. And second, I wanted to make sure I had the pressure cooking option, both for my rice and for making some pressure cooker "instant pot" type of meals on occasion. Its super convenient to be able to switch between pressure and non pressure modes using the locking mechanism on the lid!If you are looking for a premium pressure rice cooker with extra abilities, but don't want shell out $4-600 for cuckoo or zojirushi's top models, then this may be the right cooker for you! Its probably a little too small for use as an instant pot alternative if you have a large family. But for one to two people, you should have no problems, it just takes a little learning curve to figure out how to set times correctly. Plus, it automatically regulates the pressure for you during the cycle and will release the pressure on it's own when the cooking is done. HOW CONVENIENT IS THAT!!!?!They really do mean it when they say that the inner pot is non-stick. After all, it's main priority is making rice. I know for some people that may be a downside if they intend to burn and deglaze their pot for extra flavor in their dishes, but for rice.. it's a godsend, an absolute godsendd. And then if you add in the auto-clean function on top of that, amazing! Just give your dirty pot a quick rinse with some soapy water and then pop it back in the machine with some water for the auto-clean sterilization and you're ready for next time. Like most cuckoos, you'll be rewarded for cooking rice with the brand's cute little jingle at the end. It honestly makes my day everytime hahahha.

TL;DR: For CRP-RT0609FW only: Step 1: Press [TIME SETTING] for 3 seconds. Step 2: Press [ > ] once. Step 3: Press [HIGH P COOK]. I uploaded an image for clarity.I seen other instructions saying you need to press [Auto Clean] for 3 seconds – that didn't work for me.What did work was to press [Time cook] for 3 seconds, then I got a "0:0" on the screen and pressed [ > ] until hearing "This is English" and then press [High Pressure cooking] to confirm. I give this rice cooker 4 stars only because it's so complicated and they seem not care much about the language.

Cooks rice well and seems durable. However it's fairly bulky. The menu selections are overly complex, to the point of annoying rather than helpful. Seems like a case of marketing or engineering department getting out of touch with the common user. It has seals on both the lid and the lower part that have to be removed and cleaned occasionally, which is a pain.The biggest flaw is that the lid is so large and heavy with such a strong opening mechanism that when it springs open, it rocks the whole rice cooker off its front feet. Ridiculous.In sum, they over engineered the appliance. Seems fancy on paper or the store, but not great to use day to day.
