I was tasked with finding a way to hang a folding chair in the closet of some family members. The chair had to fit on the wall behind the door and be out of the way even with the door open, but be readily accessible when visitors were over (the apartment is quite small so the chair can't stay out all the time).I knew I wanted a dark finish to match the black chair, and I wanted relatively long, flat hooks to make it easier to hang/remove the chair. The chair itself weighs less than 15 pounds so nothing super strong was needed, but I did want something durable.These hooks were a total shot in the dark. I was going by the pictures and the reviews. They looked good and were inexpensive so I took a chance and ordered them.Installation was easy-- a level, stud finder, tape measure and screw gun were all that I needed. I anchored them high up on the wall into the studs about 16" apart. I think the studs were steel (surprise, surprise) but the supplied screws had no trouble biting in and holding securely. They'd probably do even better in wood studs, and I didn't even have to pre-drill any holes (which is good because I forgot my drill bits at home and was too lazy to go out and buy any).The hooks look good and fold out of the way when not needed, though there's enough clearance in my application that folding isn't required. I like the black finish and the square shape, but of course that is a personal preference. They appear strong enough for my use but I certainly wouldn't hang a ton of weight off of them.These were a better alternative to what I saw at the local home improvement store, and I'm glad I bought them. We'll see how they hold up in the long run.

Incredible hooks! Sturdy, can hold my son’s middle school back which I really questioned because that bag is HEAVY. They look great and I love that they fold up—which I never put them in that position but I love that they do it lmao

I got a 5 pack of these and they are really strong and handy - using them to hold different sizes of gift bags at check out in my shop! But one of them would not open fully into a 90' angle and then would not fold back up when trying to close it. Strange...

I saw these mounted in a camper at a trade show and really liked the look, feel, and sturdiness. I've installed them both in my house and in the trailer. I put them in the garage and used them for hanging extension cords - feels so organized! In the trailer, I mounted them with 3M tape since it's hard to find a good wall stud in a camper. We use them for hats, coats, and towels. All are super sturdy and work great! I also mounted some in the storage area to hang cords and small things to get them out of the way.

So I’m on my husband’s account which I ordered these from. I should’ve ordered these a long time ago. My husband & daughter have a habit of throwing their backpacks around everywhere. Not only do they get lost but it looks sloppy & I get tired of repeating myself (if you’re a wife/mom IYKYK.) Anywho- I started to look for a cost efficient way to store their backpacks.. a “home” for them so when I must nag them to put away their bags, at least NOW I have a designated area.At first I was looking at wall racks as an option but I realized quickly that not only are they more costly, but the space in between hooks is too tight for backpacks. Purchasing hooks vs a premade rack made more sense to me and then I stumbled upon these.The pictures are what drew me in & the cool fold up feature. Of course I always look through reviews too. I was patiently waiting for these to come in & was super excited. It probably took me 10 mins to find the power drill and put it up. It was super quick & easy. I was going for simplistic & my goal was achieved.The hooks themselves seem to be sturdy. Having a school aged child means she loads a bunch of crap + heavy books into her bag but it’s no match for this hook. I installed 3 hooks and put away the extra 2. You can see in the photos I have my diaper bag, husband’s work bag, and child’s school bag.

Sturdy hooks to hang purses, scarf, mini valet for tomorrow’s clothing, etc. Fold up nice feature when not in use as well as attractive finish.

I ordered these because after several years of using similar hooks from IKEA for backpacks, they broke due to the weight of the backpacks. I didn’t want to drive all the way back to IKEA but I also didn’t want to drill different holes in my walls. These are slightly different than the IKEA ones but you can’t really tell without looking closely. So far they work well, they were easy to install with the hardware provided, and they look great. Hopefully they will hold up well. I love that I can flip them up when not in use. Perfect for the laundry room.

These are great hooks for hats and jackets. The design is perfect behind the door because when not in use just flip and they are flat. Perfect

Good sturdy hooks that can be used everywhere. I used some for a bathroom as I have black accessories. They fit in small spaces. I also used them in the utility room. Extremely practical.
