UPDATE: Seller reached out to me and offered both a refund and a new product. I told them not to worry about the refund I just wanted another product that didn't leak. The seller has sent me a new product and also refunded 20% of the purchase price even though I said don't worry about it. Very good customer service, wish more places had this level of CS.For the updated review I'll say the one in my flowerbed is still working great with no leaks and just on the CS alone I'm changing to a 5star review.Bought 2 of these one for a garden soaker hose setup and one for a flowerbed soaker hose setup. Both come on twice a day for 15 minutes every 12 hours. Garden splitter worked great for about 1 month. Came back from vacation last week and my deck was soaked. Looked at the splitter and it is leaking from the valve on the side with the timer attached. When I turn it off the leak stops. I tried tightening the little screw to make sure it was all snug. As soon as I turn it back on there is a steady leak.The one for the flowerbed is doing fine so far, no leaks don't know if I got a lemon or what.

These break and start leaking very quickly. have had to replace 4 of them in 6 months. Not recommended.**Update** Company reached out and replaced the item quickly. great customer service

Update:After writing this review the seller offered a refund AND a replacement item. They certainly want their customers to be happy. It looks like what I wanted in a splitter doesn't exist for less than $35 - a heavy duty item that doesn't leak and has valve handles that are easy to turn on and off. As a seller I would certainly recommend them - my original product I purchased I would not recommend. The nickel plated splitter replacement is certainly a good product, but has the pitfall of tiny handles and very tight stiff valves (keeps them from leaking).Original:Ordered this item in April. Sent email to provider that unit did not couple well with hoses and leaked terribly. They have a no questions asked guaranty, They responded quickly to my email. I requested a brass replacement, (actually $1 less). After 3 days I received a box, but it had another plastic unit. Rather than going through the trouble of return / replacement, I used the 2nd unit they sent to check if it worked better. It was OK for a few weeks, but now the shutoff lever broke. I sent ANOTHER email, but they have not responded so far. Just looking to have a working product. In the interim (since they didn't respond to my second emai) I ordered a brass unit from another seller. Brass are much more heavy duty, but the valve levers are always very small and are hard to turn. Still waiting for a reply from original seller. I will give them a second star since the original email was answered promptly, but don't buy this product, it is inferior.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting anything amazing when I bought these. And it's one of the reasons why I bought a couple. I saw the chatter on the thread in the image and thought okay they need to change their inserts more often or raise or lower the speed per pass when machining on a CNC or lathe. Still won't hurt anything. Just a quality thingWhen I got mine, there was no chatter on either of the threads and these are much better quality than I thought. I'm gonna order a few more for other applications. I also bought a 3/4" hose end repair kit from this company and they are very high quality tooThe company had a gift QR code in each box and they contacted me and gave me something very nice. 2 times. But don't let that be the reason why you purchase from this company. That's just a bonus. I was already planning on leaving this review after I got the items. I buy this stuff often due to the industry I'm in and it's pretty common for me to replace a few 50 dollar splitters yearly. I have no doubt that these will hold up just as long with the extremely harsh chemicals I use. And for 20% of the cost. I'm 100% adding this company to my list of "will purchase repeatedly"

Easy install came with extra seals too. Shut offs work easy.

UPDATED: Supplier responded to this Review and refunded original purchase of one and sent a replacement that is YELLOW/green...see last two pics. They say it is a more sturdy item. Design is same though black material that cracked looks like a stronger bake-lite material. The email listed on this site was apparently not correct. Their correct email is: support@dbr-tech.comOriginal Comment with two star rating: They drill holes for the orange rivets which weakens the black plastic. If you zoom in on backside pic, you can see that the black plastic is also what bears all the load for turning the water on and off. I had two of these fail during the first half of watering season. There is a STOP which prevents over-turning, so they can't blame the user for abuse. Tried writing the company with no response.
