I looked at A LOT of TV stands in my price range on Amazon before choosing this one. I needed a very specific size and configuration to properly accommodate my stereo system in my small space. This turned out to be an excellent value and a great piece of furniture! Overall quality is better - actually quite a bit better - than I was anticipating and anyone would be pleased with that. Frankly, I would have paid twice what I did for this stand (at $189) and would still have been quite satisfied with the value for the money.The item description states that the material used for the stand is particle board, which is typical and was expected, but if this thing actually is made of particle board or MDF, I honestly can't tell it from real, solid, wood. I suppose it's likely that it's just MDF with a wood veneer of some type, but if that's the case it sure is some high quality and thick wood veneer. And if the veneer itself is imitation wood, as is often used these days on lower priced furniture (and sometimes even the high priced stuff) I think I'd pretty much have to see some proof of that to believe it! I'm not trying to imply this is on the same level as some North Carolina mahogany heirloom piece, but this didn't cost anywhere near $4,500 either.The TV stand is shipped disassembled in a reasonably compact double layer box (that was quite heavy, weighing 45kg, or right about 100lbs). The box and packing materials did a good job protecting the pieces in shipment and there was no damage to any of the pieces despite the evidence that this heavy box had seen some fairly rough handling and had probably been dropped on one of the corners at least once, which I suppose would be predictable for something this heavy. Even with some hard shipping marks and dings and corner damage on the box, each piece was fine and undamaged.Assembly was very straightforward and easy and can easily be done by one person. I would bet that even someone with minimal tool and "mechanical" skills could get this put together in the same hour or so it took me. The manual is clear, comprehensive and simple to follow. Each component in the TV stand is numbered with a little sticker and all the screws, doohickeys and other hardware is in individual little baggies, also clearly numbered and all the numbers correspond to the manual, so no having to break out the metric ruler to figure out which is the M6x12mm screw and which is the M6x14, for example. Even the design of the stand, from the "engineering/assembly" perspective, was logical and quite robust. Each screw or bolt for each component was appropriate and all predrilled holes and machined locations for hardware and everything lined up perfectly during assembly. There was at least one spare of every little screw, bracket, or other piece of assembly hardware, and even a nice screwdriver and some allen wrenches were included - the only tools needed for assembly - which by itself is a reassuring indicator of good quality and that some actual care and thought to benefit the end user went into the design of this thing.So this TV Stand/Console turned out to be a pretty darn nice piece of furniture and I'm totally happy with it in every way, which is as it should be!

This was the best stand I have ever put together with clear instructions. I actually messed up at first and had to take apart some parts, but it was easy to put back together. It definitely is worth the money it cost and I would recommend anyone I come across and on here to buy it! The sturdiness is great, the presentation is great, and the size is fantastic 👏. I love it and wouldn't change a thing.

I’ve been having this for over a year and it’s still awesome. So sturdy and nice for the price

This took me and my partner roughly 4-5 hours to put together. Although it wasn't hard to figure out, it did feel like some of the steps were absolutely out of order, and made the process more difficult for no apparent reason. However, I am really happy with the end product. It looks a lot more expensive that in is (which is still pretty expensive for a thrifter like me) and the wood color is neutral and goes with everything. It's been such an improvement having this extra storage, and it feels really sturdy to boot. (My cat jumps on top almost every day and seems to agree.)

I absolutely love this TV stand. The rustic wood finish and black metal are gorgeous. It is the perfect height to keep my kids from touching the TV screen. The thin shelf between the top and the actual doors/shelves fit our gaming consoles perfectly and give us tons of room for games and accessories. I built this stand by myself in about 2 hours with the "help" of my 2 young children. The instructions were very clear and it was easy to put together. It is very sturdy; I know we will be enjoying this TV stand for a long time!

I love this tv stand. I bought this on an impulse after a $450 one I ordered from Wayfair became back ordered for three months. It was a great impulse! It’s affordable, it’s sturdy, and it’s honestly a beautiful piece. Lots of storage. It wasn’t difficult to put together, really, just a lot of steps - a little tedious, but not difficult by any means. I can’t recommend this enough!

This is a gorgeous, high quality console for the money. I am quite happy with it, and it matches other pieces of different brands beautifully. I am very experienced in putting together furniture, and I will have to warn you, make sure all bolts line up before tightening! The last few bolts were brutal to line up, an after a bunch of acrobatics, sweat...and a few mental swear words, I finally got it to mesh. Oy! Overall, it's great though. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Overall, I really love this tv stand. It was the perfect style and size for our living room. We have a 55in tv on our stand for reference. However, we did receive a damaged cabinet door. The piece had a crack down the inside of the door, and a chip on the edge of door (front). It was pretty easy to assemble and for the price, it’s worth it!
