We use these in our laundry room when we built some shelves over the washing machine and dryer. We needed some thing that was very heavy duty for the size boards we were using. It was very difficult to find some thing that would fit the space and these were perfect, very sturdy .

Easy to install; medium duty enough to hold books, paint cans, cast iron cookware, and other shelving items. If I need any more, I'll buy these again.

I went with these after ordering and returning a less expensive version utilizing a flat bar for the diagonal. I could bend those easily by hand and worried that they would eventually give out under stress. I almost did not purchase these because of the image showing the welding, but the quality of the welding is far better than shown in the promotional images. This bracket with the solid, round diagonal rod is the one to get; heavy gauge flat metal and strong diagonal rod with quality welding.

Brackets are sturdy but the screws aren't great. They strip easy and some even break off. Thank goodness I have better screws to use. We used these brackets for some homemade built-in bookshelves. So far they haven't collapsed. Going on two months now.

These are good brackets that I'm using to support several old farm-wood shelves. I've placed two brackets for support of each 6 foot shelf - each bracket is ~2feet in from the ends. The bracing prevents any bending from the weight placed on the level bracket, and transfers the force into the wall bracket, which is screwed into the wall studs.I appreciated that a good assortment of APPROPRIATE screws was supplied with the bracket set. I'd definitely consider purchasing another set of these brackets when I install another set of these shelves in another room in my house!

I looked for brackets at the big name hardware stores. The prices were high when you needed as many brackets as I did. So I searched on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to find comparable brackets for a lot less. These even came with the hardware, something the ones in the store didn’t include. These went up easy and we didn’t have any problem with the screws.

I'm giving my kitchen a well needed face-lift & need storage option until I hv the funds to do an all out kitchen remodel. These brackets worked great! I stained some planks & paired them with the black bracket into kitchen open shelving. I absolutely love how they turned out. Will recommend!
