This is the exact ink my printer requires, and it was at a good price, cheaper than at my local store.

OKay, but...
The cartridges are Original Epson cartridges and they worked fine. The problem is that they were regular, not XL. The printer got inadvertently "hardware" updated to the newest BIOS (by someone not regularly using this office printer) and the 3rd party cartridges I had been using for quite some time no longer functioned. I had to go back to Epson cartridges ($85.00 for this set compared to $35.00 for a set of 3rd party XLs). After two sets of cartridges, using Epson cartridges exceeded the cost of the printer. I replaced the printer... we went with a Canon Tank printer. Sorry Epson, although the printer worked fine, we could not afford the replacement cartridges.

keep an extra set on hand for when the ink runs out so you are not left without ink in an emergency!
