The package appeared to have been opened previously. Two brushes appear to have been used and put back in the box without thorough cleaning - the bristles were stuck together and had whitish crusty material on the surface. One brush had very uneven, jagged bristles. Bristles on several of the brushes were sticking out in all directions. Super disappointed.

Beautiful shape.
I love these brushes. I was a bit dubious as I was looking for a filbert brush that went to a tip. These are slightly rounded at the end but, although I'm a total amateur,I've found they are brilliant for both the width for wider painting and also for the more detailed work. They arrived well packaged and once the glue for transit was washed out, I couldn't wait to use them. Very happy with everything about them. Hold plenty of water and paint. I would definitely buy again when needed.
