If you haven't bought it yet, think twice & do more research. The water does not swirl. Hundreds of bubbles come up from the bottom. The colors are real nice, they can change or remaini solid,, and that is about it. The fish do not work. They just float on top, no matter what you do.. if you want a tube with colored bubbles this is it; anything more than that don't bother. This is the truth. Good luck.

Colorful and soothing

All parts, instructions and remote came in package. This was very easy to set up and requires approximately two gallons of water to fill. We used distilled water.The base is sturdy and hasn't leaked. Be sure to turn on the base switch in order to use the remote.The bubbles are plentiful and yet water evaporation is minimal! Colors are vibrant and soothing. The noise level is minimal. We have this set up as a night light for sleeping. Very happy with this purchase!

Super cool but stops working within a few weeks.

We purchased two of these bubble towers. We all fell in love with them. The motor died on both of them. The first one lasted three weeks and the second one lasted a week. Super disappointed. These aren't cheap!!!

Works fine for me

The media could not be loaded. I’ve read some reviews where people say that the fish only float on the top. As you can see from my video, they do float near the top and then gradually go down and then back up. I’ve added this to my daughter’s sensory room and she loves it! It takes about 2 gallons of distilled water. It does make a humming noise so it’s not completely quiet. But the humming noise doesn’t bother her and for me that’s all that matters. I will update after having it for a while and see if anything changes.

Defective product

The bubbles/motor stopped working after a month, Amazon would not take it back due to time frame passed to return by mid Nov, but was a xmas present for my autistic grandson, so never would have known it was defective until after xmas anyway....
