Perfect fit for my 1984 Porsche 944.

Electrical continuity is marginal at best. For a while, my rear hatch defogger worked as usual, although the lift cylinders themselves grew quite warm at each end. Then, quite suddenly, both cylinders lost all continuity. I now no longer have rear hatch defogger capability and the product return period has expired.Clearly, not much thought has been put into maintaining an electrical connection thru these lift cylinders.I recommend avoiding these, unless you're okay with having to run ugly bypass wires alongside them just to keep your defogger operational.

Bought these to replace old ones on a glass hatchback sports car. I dont have to do anything but turn the key and the hatch lifts itself with these!

We bought these for our 83 porsche 944. They fit perfect and the rear hatch now pops open when it is unlocked. I was worried about the weight of the rear hatch and these not holding up but they are phenomenal
