Not Perfect, But Pretty Darn Good
This is my 1st bidet seat and, really, my 1st bidet experience. Conclusion: where’ve you been all my life? I did my research and determined that the JX2 was the one to try. I’ve been using it for a solid 6 months now, and I’ve gotten quite used to it. I’m disappointed if I have to use the other bathroom now.The JX2 was part of a comprehensive bathroom renovation. My fist mistake was going with a round instead of elongated commode bowl. There are a few reasons for this, but suffice it to say, I definitely recommend the elongated over the round, if you have the choice. The beeping: yes, there is a faint “beep” when I sit down (and, I think, also when I stand up.) This can be turned off by plugging in the JX2 while depressing a button on the seat. I’ve found that the house power invariably gets interrupted within days of me doing this, though, and when it comes back on, the seat defaults to beeping again. So, I’ve just gotten used to the beeping. This one’s not that loud. (But it’s still dumb that it beeps. Who needs a toilet seat that beeps? Everything beeps these days. It’s maddening.)The bidet-ing itself is pleasant and effective overall. Sometimes I run concurrent cycles, just to be sure. I recommend pressing the bidet button twice, which gets the wand to do a slight, back-and-forth, scrubbing motion. It was interesting to me to experience changing the water temperature on-the-fly. You push the temp button and that water temperature instantly changes. Speaking of, Alpha should be able to figure out a way to have the initial blast of water be as warm as the rest of it, because it ain’t. It is ALWAYS frigid-cold, just for a second, long enough to make me make a face, and then it’s pleasant. One thing I have noticed recently, temperature-wise, is that the water isn’t always as warm as it was. Maybe my wife is fidgeting with the temp control (which I doubt because she likes everything hotter than I like it), or maybe it’s because the incoming water is much colder than it was in the summer and fall. Regardless, I’ve had some cooler than expected bidets this winter. My wife has complained that, although the wand’s position can be adjusted, she still can’t get it to move far enough forward to be useful in the female application. I have had the same issue at the opposite end. When I’m ready to bidet, even after I draw the wand back as far as it will go, I still have to scoot a little “too” forward on the seat to feel optimally situated. Here is where the elongated bowl and seat (as opposed to the round) could have solved a lot.The drying feature could get warmer faster, which I think would help it not to take so long. I don’t feel the warmth (which could be warmer) until it’s at least a third of the way into its cycle, maybe half way. Before that, it’s just like a cool breeze. It gets high marks for aim though, good aim, just slow to dry.My wife likes the heated seat function, though I could do without it. We both like the night-light feature. I don’t even have to turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night anymore. I can see everything I need to see.If I was to suggest anything to Alpha, like if they asked me, I’d maybe recommend a model with a throttle on the side, like driving a boat, something you could pull back on to crank up the water pressure. I’d buy that (and maybe a Captain’s hat to wear with it).

Great bidet
This bidet has at lot of bells and whistles. The heated water jet has adjustable settings for temperature. The jet nozzle can be adjusted while in use. The heated seat is nice if you live in a cold environment, but not really needed in warmer climes. I like the night light feature which is very useful if you are inclined to need to use the facilities after dark. Best of all is that it is easy to use. All the controls are on the remote. You just need to press the wash, dry and stop buttons at the right time although there is a preprogrammed "easy wash". The dry function is nice, but you will need to wait a long time if you want to completely dry the washed area. The bidet remembers your settings so you do not have to adjust every time. It is a good value for the money and the best thing for your tush.

Calidad al 100
Excelente producto.

Nice, but not great
We had dinner with friends one night, and told us they got a bidet and we thought that was a weird topic at dinner that was. We quizzed them about this and that....and then we got this after test driving a cheaper one on a hall bathroom which was a great intro into the secret world of bidets!. My husband was HOOKED!We decided to spring and get a Cadillac bidet. My husband researched them ALL and this is the one he chose. He also installed said it was a piece of cake. We were doing a bath remodel, so we had a plug installed by the toilet. Here is my opinion on what we have found with having this installed for 3 months.Good-1. Night Light - I thought this was kind of silly, but now prob my favorite feature. Nice to be able to get up in the middle of the night at least in my house and go to the bathroom. Our door is close to our bed, doesn't wake up whoever is sleeping with the overhead light.2. Heated Seat - I thought this was silly too, but now I love it. Good temp controls to adjust warmer or not. You can turn it completely off too, if you want in the summer.3. Washing - I like that it oscillates back and forth if you want. I also like that it is heated water on demand, the first second isn't because of the water in the line, but its fine. Our other one doesn't have this, its just cold water, and THAT is refreshing! Heater water is a nice feature for your bits and pieces! Water pressure is great on all functions. I do everything manually, if you use the auto wash/dry I feel like it takes forever. I just hit the 'lady button' or the 'bum buttom' and small bit of tp, and your off to the races! What they need to improve-4. Dryer- Okay, my husband specially chose this one for this feature. I have to say, its kind of a joke. Its like a warm breeze on the bum.... It takes forever, its not strong enough to dry anything. We will never use it. It you have nothing to do all day and want to wait 10 min for it to dry your bum, give it a go....I still don't think it would dry. I wish we would have got one with no dryer, or a STRONG dryer. This was really disappointing to both of us.5. The Remote- This remote has a lot of button/options, read the quick manual, you will find you will use your favorites, you wont use all after your initial fascination of test driving them all out....the problem is THERE IS NO BACK LIGHT! Remember I said how nice the nightlight is nice to use so you don't have to turn the overhead light on....well, why wouldn't they put a backlight IN the remote screen...you can't see the screen in the dark...I have figured out 'by feel', which button I use, or you attempt it and use the toilet light to see the screen. Its ridiculous. For something this expensive, put a light in the remote screen please....or bring a flashlight with you!6. Seat Design - It is a bit strange, as it is higher in the back, I get it, all of the 'mechanics' need to be in there. I get ready for work really early and take my clothes on the bathroom, and use the toilet seat to put jeans and shoes on. It is not flat. I wonder if I should be sitting ON the lid too everyday? This isn't a deal breaker for me, but it is a thing. Funny, I have 3 older cats, who come visit me every day, and used to jump up and sit on the toilet seat. They don't anymore because the toilet seat on slanted.7. Noise - Again, not a deal breaker, every time you sit down it is a bit noisy because the water starts for an auto clean before and after you business. Just making you aware.8. Splash - I have tried this several different ways, the water WILL splash/spray up behind you on to the seat.I have wiggled around trying different ways, and it still splashes up on to the seat, or a bit higher up your backside if you don't sit just right. You have to wipe it down after each bum wash...kind of sucks, not a deal breaker....It may be this way with all brands.Overall...I am okay with the purchase, If I knew then what I know now, I would check out reviews from ppl who recommend one because of the dryer power (maybe thats not important to you), remote with a light in it for sure, the other stuff I can live with.I love the clean feel, and I have talked a co-worker into one too. We both agree, we dont want to use the ladies room at work, because we miss or bidet! Toilet paper consumption has definitely gone down. You WILL get spoiled, knowing how much more 'refreshed and clean' your under carriage is and you miss it when you don't have access to it! This is a thing and I will never go back! :)
