This is a very nicely built aluminum truck box and an excellent value. It is perfect for my needs. I consider it to be a very durable addition to my trailer. It has remained waterproof, sturdy and incredibly useful. I'm one satisfied customer and would order this box again in a heartbeat.

I immediately cut mine up for a completely different purpose, however, it only worked for me since it was an actually well made box.

This box is made from thin aluminum sheet about 1 mm or 0.039 inches thick. It is light duty. Like many of the boxes in the earlier reviews, mine had a minor leak at the butt joint of the rubber seal. Where the two ends of the rubber seal met up, the gasket material was a little too long which caused a little pooch in the seal where rain and hose water could enter. To fix this I snipped a little bit of the overlapping gasket away. I then added about 4 inches of a McDonald’s soda straw into the cavity of the gasket and butted the pieces back together. I’ve since left the box out in some driving rains and have had no issues.I’m using this box as a weather and bug proof enclosure for a pond bubbling system air pump. Ants seem to like the vibrations and will almost bury the reciprocating pump in a few months.

well built fast shipping

Well shipping was fast. It was what I was looking for I mounted it to the frame behind my fuel tank on my semi. I used the bracket kit that was recommended. It was used for my tools. It was all good until I noticed it was ripping at the back bottom seam. So my complaint is that its thin metal and the craftsmanship is not very good. I wouldnt recommend this product for heavy use. Maybe just light things like straps or edge protectors and extra fuel filters

I mounted this under the bed of an Isuzu NRR and I'm very happy with the result. It gives us a good place to put miscellaneous supplies and fuel additives. It also looks very good.The box is very light but strong. Definitely worth the money.

Yes, they are thin, but not paper. If I was mounting them under a truck bed, I would build some supports to go under them. I am using them on top of a flat surface and they seem quite adequate. (Qualify that, I haven't used them much.) The latches seem really good and there is a good gasket around the door. My keys are not the same, wish they were, but what's another key. Good covers on the locks. I am giving them 5 stars because, to me, they are exactly what is advertised. If you want heavy duty metal, be ready to pay heavy duty prices. For me, these will last as long as I need them to, I think.
