It is not listed as an ingredient. I can not speak for the maker of the drink. But It dose list Aspartate and according to Google it is a "vitamin-like substance called an amino acid. As a dietary supplement, aspartate is combined with minerals and is available as copper aspartate, iron aspartate, magnesium aspartate, manganese aspartate, potassium aspartate." We like the pink lemonade, cherry pomegranate and the lemonade flavors the best. They do have a mixed offering so you can try them all and see what you like best.

Q: Do these have that gross fake sugar taste that “sugar free” often carries?

I absolutely hate the flavor of stevia, and I can’t taste it at all in these. Note that it’s a different form of stevia extract. You could find a health food store that sells individual packets and try it before you buy a larger package.

Q: how much sodium in each stick?

Not nearly enough sodium for hydration. And it should not be sweet at all, better to be salty as sodium and potassium are the key electrolytes for proper hydration. Most hydration mixes are missing the proper amount of salt.
