These folding shelf brackets are awesome! I set them up in my garage, with a small work bench. Use it as a table top. Works well because my garage is pretty small, in the winter I’ll be parking my car in here and I won’t want to have the shelf sticking out when parking! With these, I can fold the brackets, and it hangs there (about 2 inches off the wall only) as opposed to the 25” or so plank of wood I screwed to it. Surprisingly sturdy as well. I picked these shelf brackets as they have a longer release arm, I’m a bit clumsy so didn’t want to pinch my fingers or anything. Highly recommend these!

these folding shelf brackets are well designed with a nice durable matte finish. I tested the load capacity to be over 100lbs easily. Can very nicely package with everything needed to install!

I made a folding desk using these brackets and it turned out great. I used the screws and studs it came with and everything is sturdy. I like when you fold it up you can hear a clicking sound ensuring that it is locked in.

Overall I like these brackets, but I do have two minor complaints.While they're sturdy, easy to install and easy to use, the locking is a wee bit fickle. It gives very weak feedback that it has locked into position while requiring full extension. If you're just a little bit shy of locking it into place, you may believe it's locked by look and feel when it isn't. You really have to double-check that it's properly locked before using it to bear weight.My other complaint is that the unlocking action is actually TOO easy. It doesn't take much pressure on the lever to release the lock. If you're using this to make a fold-down desk, I can imagine bumping your knee on the lever and causing it to release.Still, these are pretty sturdy and very easy to implement at a great price. Knowing of these 2 character flaws, I can work around them.
