Nice looks and feels sturdy perfect for some sugar cookies

I'm rating it 3/5 thus far because I have not actually used it yet but both items do look like good quality. We will be using it in the next few days as I'm looking forward to making dumplings for my b-day and the main reason why we got this. My wife is Chinese, born and raised, and I got this to help her ease the making of dumplings. When we got it, she did tell me these would make dumplings too big for how we make them (boiled dumplings). She believes this item would be better served if making fried dumplings. Also, the box is a bit misleading as it shows 3 items, when you actually only get two (does not include the leveler/spoon, starred in pic) but then again the description does say 2pcs set but still a bit misleading. Will update once we actually make the dumplings!

A kit of two tools to help make dumplings. I don’t roll my own dough, so the cutter is not needed at this time. But, my daughter-in-law makes her own pasta and will be using it for her ravioli.I do like the dumpling mold. It makes it easy to have the dumplings folded and makes sure that the exact amount of filling for the dumpling.The mold also presses the edges of the dumpling, which can be a very, time-consuming task. This mold maker works nicely.It is made of food-grade stainless steel. This press won't rust, bend, or break.Now, my grandson gets his favorite snack more often because it is easier to make

What I like best about these sea themed cookie cutters is that they are easily recognizable. The cutters are light with adequate slicing ability. The cookies are fun to decorate. Great for a beach or sea themed party.

I got this for my wife, who is Chinese. She is very good at making dumplings, but I was hoping this device would save her time and make the process easier for her. The primary downside is that the dumplings are larger than you would expect. So if you want to make standard size dumplings, this tool might not be good for you. But if you don't mind a larger dumpling, it works fairly well.The box shows a picture of a 3rd piece used to scoop up the filling to put inside the dumpling, but that is not included. I wrote the company and they told me that that item is not included, and they will be remaking the box to not show it to avoid confusion.

My main interest in getting this set was to make empanadas. I don’t make them as often as I’d like, but when I do, putting them together can be messy and time consuming. One of the most import parts of making empanadas, dumplings, pizza pockets, or anything similar is getting the edges pinched together correctly.After using this mold to make a couple different batches of empanadas, I am so glad I got it. I am still using the full-circle dough cutter I have used for years because it is easier to use than the half-circle one in this kit, but the dumpling press is great! I can easily add the correct amount of filling and get the perfect pinch on the edges. It makes the process so simple and easy – I wish I had gotten one years ago.

This dumpling maker is so fun for some family cooking. The pastry dough cutter is so convenient and time-saving during batch cooking or cooking, in general. The size of the dumpling maker is a bit generous as some of the other reviewers said but I find them to be a good size, especially for small hand pies. We made pumpkin hand pies with pumpkin from our garden and baked them. They look uniform and beautiful. I love that this set is stainless steel and not plastic as we try to avoid plastic in our house for numerous reasons. So excited to keep using it over the fall and winter while we do more baking.

I got this for my mother to test out. She said that it works well enough, and the hardest parts were handling the dough and making the fillings--which is to say that she had no trouble. The listing for this item shows two pieces--the folder and the cutter--but the box also shows a third item, a flat metal utensil for handling the filling, that was not included in the package. This wasn't a dealbreaker, but it's worth mentioning in the review.
