Looks great! These were a third of the price of the plastic ones from the hardware store. These are nice sturdy metal ones. Couldn’t be happier. Very easy for me to install them.

I can't believe the other negative reviews of these reflective trims! I got a 6 pack of these today and they are all fantastic. They fit up tight against my ceiling, or as close as possible since I have a popcorn ceiling in my office. There isn't much to these, there is the smooth aluminum reflective insert that holds the separate white metal ring over the lip of the can housing, covering the drywall edge. They look super clean and professional. Right now I am using these in my office but will try them out at home in my kitchen as well.

I would say these are acceptable if you are not very particular. Firstly, they are not white, not even close. They are more of a mid beige. Second, the quality is not great. I bought two packs of 6, and 2 of those had small chunks of paint missing. Another 2 had serious dents in the trim ring. Another 3 or 4 had trim rings that were slightly warped and don't sit flush with the ceiling as a result.I highlighted these quality issues to the seller, who promised to send replacements. After 3 weeks, the replacements are nowhere to be found, so I've given up. I will not be keeping these in my ceiling, and have decided to replace everything with integrated LED trims.Edit: Torchstar contacted me to let me know that the replacements had gone missing in the mail, and that they would send out more replacements. I received these a few days back and they look fine. I've added a star to my review for good customer service. I would still encourage Torchstar to update the product image to show that it is not white. It does not match a flat ceiling white paint.

I was trying to find plain white metal trim for our new recessed lighting. Home Depot and local stores wanted $12/per baffle trim kit. These are uniform shape, solid white color, metal material, with an optional foam insulator. They were simple to install and look great!

Annoying to install but they look amazing. They give a very bright light, I am using the normal gen 3 hue bulbs not the Hue downlights only bc I already had a bunch of the regular ones and wanted something that would be reflective for a normal Hue bulb and this did the trick. Also bc of the reflective properties you can’t tell I have regular bulbs installed when at full brightness. They are just as bright as a downlight would be with this trim and the trim looks great against a white ceiling. Recommended.

A little loose in some of the openings but they look so much better than my old ones

These fit HALO fixtures beautifully. The springs even have tabs in the middle of the spring to allow my fingers to hold and stretch the spring. No need for pliers.I will definitely order these again.Four day shipping to Manitoba. Quick!

Ordered these to replace an older plastic variation from about 15 years ago, which had started to yellow due to sunlight and other factors. These are a nice high quality insert made of metal and clean up the look of the ceiling tremendously.

Replaced the yellow trims I had installed 20 years ago. This change gave the basement a brand new and modern look.
