Overall, I love the bottle; my issues are with the lids. If a different lid came standard with this bottle, this would EASILY be a 5-star product.The good:- Water and other beverages taste CLEAN in this bottle. No funky odors and no metallic or other unwanted tastes.- Beverages stay cold without making the bottle sweat and stay hot without burning your hands.- Coating looks and feels nice (mine's red).- Size: 14 oz. Originally, I was surprised (aka disappointed) at how small the 14 oz bottle looked and felt, but I actually carry this bottle everywhere I go, unlike the 24 oz assorted bottles I always leave at home. I'm a petite adult (5'0"), and this size feels perfect for me for daily use (because I have fairly easy access for refilling with clean, cold water). This would be a perfect size for putting in an older elementary/middle schooler's lunch.The bad:- The metal lid is really nice, but doesn't allow for easy drinking because there's no smaller opening, so you have to totally unscrew the lid and drink from the wide mouth. (Not ideal if driving, walking, clumsy, etc.)- The flip lid would address the above issue, BUT IT'S NOT LEAKPROOF! The only thing I can figure is that it was supposed to be leakproof, but they realized it leaked and started throwing it in the box for free to get rid of them. It basically has no value because it leaks.- The chug lid is AWESOME, but you have to pay extra ($10 on Amazon or "free" plus $3.99 on their website). ***If they sold the bottle with the option of any lid of your choice, this would be 5 stars!!!*** But as it currently stands, it's $16 for the bottle plus $4 to $10 for a leakproof, drink-friendly lid, bringing it to $20 to $26 for a small bottle!- Note (if you're considering buying a chug lid): the drinking opening on the chug lid is rather small. I'm tiny, so it's fine for me, but I think it would feel too small for a normal-sized adult. Good size for kids.- The bottle makes a loud, clanging, canteen-like sound if tapped (eg, with your keys). You can buy a rubber piece for the bottom to dampen the noise, but that's another $10.If I could buy these with the chug lid included instead of the leaky flip lid, I'd definitely buy several for my kids. But until then, it's just too much $$ and hassle to buy more (unless it was priced differently).

I ordered 2 of the small ones for my 6 and 9 year old and a larger for my teen. We live in Honolulu and there is no AC in the schools so it gets quite hot. I needed something to keep their water cold all day. After buying cups from a local box store that claimed to keep drinks cold for 16+ hours and failed miserably I ordered these. My kids are so happy! They filled these with ice and water at 7am and when they came home at 3pm the cups were still over 1/2 full of whole pieces of ice. Keep in mind with the smaller cups they are refilling 2-3+ times a day. My oldest still had almost the same ice she left with. This was all day in 80+ degree temps. The small water bottles are the perfect size for little hands. So far I'm extremely happy with this purchase. My only negative is I wish they made a flip straw option for the lids.

I think this one is fake. It isn't quite as tall as the other one I have that is Simple Modern- and the logo isn't etched- just a very light paint. Also came in a plain white box with no Simple Modern papers or product pamphlet.ETA- the yellow 22oz. (I also purchased the orchid of the smaller size from this exact listing and it came in the proper box, with proper papers and etched logo)

I have five of these water bottles, three of the 18oz size for my kids and two 32oz ones for me and my husband, and we love them! My kids use them for school mostly and there water is ice cold from 7am till almost 3pm (in Arizona heat) and they continue to stay cold long after that. I love the size and color selection and if one of the two kids that come with don't work for you small children you can get a separate lid for around $5, you can see in my picture I have one with a straw for my 5 year old just because it makes it easier for her. They work just as well as my more expensive water bottles and have cuter colors, two lids and they are less money!Colors shown; mint green, Caribbean blue, and slate gray.

Every once in a while you buy a thing that improves your quality of life so dramatically, in a messed up kind of way it sort of justifies our whole toxic consumerist culture. This is one of those products.Two years ago I bought two of these bottles. I still use them both every day (EDIT: 5 years of use now). They're so durable I can't imagine ever needing to buy a third. I've dropped them on concrete from about 5 feet up. While they did get a tiny bit dented, I'm honestly more worried about them damaging the concrete.Filled with ice they'll keep water cold for close to three days. Filled with a hot drink they'll stay warm for at least 8 hours, I've never tried for more.My only quibbles after two years of use are:-They're difficult to clean. The lids tend to accumulate gunk. I have two specifically because I couldn't get the tea and coffee staining of out of my first (but it says something that my solution to that problem was to buy a second).-They're heavy. Filled, they're around 3-5 pounds.-The sealing ring inside the screw-top lid occasionally comes loose. Especially if I've kept a mix of hot liquid and air inside for an extended period of time, creating a pressure differential inside the container. That also makes the bottle difficult to open. You can just pop it back in the lid and it's good.

Good quality water bottle. Doesn't keep drinks cold/cool for as long as some others, but for a few hours it does the job. I tend to keep it in the fridge, so it's extra chilled. I haven't used the sip lid, only the silver one, as I like to use the adjoining strap as a carry handle. Really nice matt blue colour. Has a nice wide neck, so filling and cleaning is very easy, and the bottle is just the right diameter to hold comfortably. As far as I know it doesn't leak - I say this as I only use it at home, so it's always kept upright. Comes boxed, so would make a great gift. In hindsight, I just wish I'd purchased the slightly larger version.

These are brilliant. Keeps ice frozen for 24 hours! They also do not sweat at all. I think all of the lids match whatever size you get as well, so if you buy 2 different sizes, the lids will match, so you can interchange them as needed. They are a bit heavy & a bit pricey but it's worth it for keeping the drinks warm or cold for the amount of time these do. I would highly recommend these. I have bought 3 of them and use them every single day. Perfect for at home or travel. DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER, wash by hand.

An excellent product that I wish I'd found sooner. I've got the 1L and 530ml versions of these bottles, one in stainless steel and the other in powdered black. They are both excellent. Came with a nice lid and also a separate drinking lid which is great. The smaller one is much more portable and the powdered coating is not what I expected. It doesn't feel at all like its been painted. Good build quality and because they are stainless steel they are extremely durable

Sturdy, lovely colour and big enough. I use it at home and far it hasn't leaked but I haven't left it on its side long enough. Comes with two lids - the metal one of which is attached to the bottle. I would have like if this was detachable as the metal lid is easier to clean than the other one but you can detach the plastic ring from the bottle instead of the lid. Still, its a great bottle.

I have now purchased 5 of these bottles for family members in various colours. The colours are lovely and strong. They metal part of the bottle cannot be washed in a dishwasher but wash up well in the sink. I do however put the plastic tops into the dishwasher for hygiene purposes and the was well, the bottles do as they say and keep liquids both hot and cold. I like the fact that they come with two lids and I use both. Most importantly for me is that they don't leak! And having carried them around in my packpack have not dented or chipped either. I would highly recommend!
