Long search for these, and recommend 100%. Well constructed--no shrinkage, seams are well sewn, holding up well after 5 washes. Perfect size--not too small, but not so large that when you wipe counters they bunch up. Fabric is thick enough they should last a long time, but thin enough they easily dry out overnight in average humidity. Best of all, they absorbed water with first use, without a million washes prior. Great item!

My dish cloths over use and time end up stinking not matter what I wash them in so after many months of use I replace them. I know some people boil their dish cloths but I'm just not into the time expenditure. And I like these, they are really reasonably priced to replace after several months of use. Have bought again and again.

I am embarrassed that I wrote a scathing review and downgraded items unfairly. These dish cloths once removed from the plastic package and soaped up, turned out to be quite durable. They are not soft but they do the job thoroughly. I would not use them on stainless steel and they are great on pots and pans. Yes they are thin but they are tough. I would buy them again.
