Cheap fix for noisy signal chain

I had been running the One spot daisy chain for about 10 years and it was fine. Over the years my pedal collection grew, as they are wont to do. After adding two of the wonderful Alabs pedals I was getting an intolerable noise whether they were on or off, but especially when they were on! I guess digital pedals don't play nice with daisy-chains. Add to this the fact that my pedalboard was now exceeding the rated power of the one spot, it was time for something new. Enter the Mosky - and all of my noise issues are gone! I compared the two and this is a quieter setup by far, even with the alabs pedals removed from the daisy chain. I like the 12V output for running my Quilter Superblock US at practice volumes, I can completely power my gear from a single supply. As a bonus, it's got USB so I can even power my digital 8 track! It's also surprisingly small and comfortably sits underneath my board (Ikea Tordh shelf with velcro and feet) with the wires neatly tucked away. The metal case is well built and seems quite durable. For the money this is an excellent piece of gear, and truly isolated unlike other cheap supplies. Give it a shot ESPECIALLY if you have digital pedals!

Bought more pedals so....

There are several brands that have exact features. I found 3 including this Mosky brand.I read while investigating these similar products / with different branding, that a customer with certain electrical knowledge, opened one of the other brand units, and the parts inside were "Mosky".I cannot verify if what he said was true, but I figured I would buy the Mosky brand because of this. This power supply works well so far, with my pedals. It covers 9v 300mA to 9v 500mA.including 12 v and 18v 500mA.If your pedal only draws 9v 100mA, all 9v 200 250 300 500mA outputs will work well with the pedal. They will not fry your pedal. If you hook up a pedal that needs 300mA into a 100mA outlet, the pedal may not operate properly, because it cannot draw enough mA.So, do your home work! Check what each of your pedals need. This power supply has a lot of options! Price point to value and build seems very good.Of course, I tested it once I got it, and it worked great. Time will tell, but I do expect it to last!!

Been using for many months now, seems like a good unit

This has been a solid, quiet power supply that doesn't get too warm. I have been using all the output ports. Most of my pedals don't draw that many mA, but a few do. The only thing to look out for is that the power supply says it generates/supports 2500mA of output, which is more than the sum of what each port can provide, so, if you had a bunch of high mA pedals you might run into issues. But so far very happy with it, and it is far less money than other isolated supplies.

Excellent Bang for The Buck

I purchased the Mosky ISO 10 Power Supply to use primarily at home to test my guitar pedals either separately, one at a time or in combination with other pedals. I read some of the product reviews online here on Amazon and other places and decided to get one.So far, everything seems to be working as advertised. It's small and robust and feels of good quality. I like that 7 of the outputs each has a maximum of 300mA, with 1 at 500mA and the last two outputs being switchable between 9V, 12V, and 18V at 500mA. I didn't see any other power supplies comparable to the features along with its price. Many of the power supplies at this price range only have a max of 100mA per each output with 1-2 of the remaining outputs with a max output of 500mA. I haven't done a voltage test on each output but I have plugged in a few different pedals such as a Strymon Cloudburst (that needs 200mA) and a Line 6 DL4 MKII (that needs 300mA) and they have functioned fine with no signal drop or noise, either on their own or combined at the same time.I will still get a Strymon Zuma (and a couple of Strymon Ojai's expansion kits) or Cioks power supply and expansion kit to use on my actual pedalboard. However, if this Mosky proves to be reliable, I can see myself using this on a secondary pedalboard.Bang for Buck, the Mosky 10 ISO power supply seems to be a fantastic value. I would recommend.

This power supply is rock solid. No hiss

I Love that this power supply is not only affordable but also really reliable. I've had zero problems with this mosky iso unit. It does all that I need at a low cost! Easy to install. Everything sounds amaging and no unwanted brightness or darkness and or power sag. Also it is very compact. All in all id buy this brick again in a heartbeat. It supports 2 18v power ios which I needed badly. Amazing job Mosky! I own multiple pedals from them as well. Never let me down yet.

Curbs noise and has useful features

My pedal selection got hungry enough to finally start making some noise with the OneSpot daisy chained supply. My short story is that it does the job. All quiet on the pedal front.I chose this because I’m cheap and don’t want to pay for nice things, but it also has some features over some other cheap options:• the outputs are all 300mA minimum, at least so it claims.• there are also a couple of 500mA outputs• there are two switchable outputs that can be 9, 12, or 18 volts, and I have an OD pedal that can optionally run up to 18 but I’ve never been able to try it at the higher voltage before.• it has a USB port which is awesome for keeping my MVAVE Cube Baby charged. The noise reduction is great. I’m hoping that as little as I play it will last me a while, but that’s got to be the catch - the durability can’t be what you’d get from pricier choices. If you’re looking for cheap isolated power, you could do worse.

Quiet

Works great. No noise

its alright

decent price for an isolated power supplyit will overheat and introduce noise if you use all10 outputs at the same time. plus theres a low current to go around so if you have sum power hungry pedals you might be in noise city before u can even use all the plugs. cant recommend because of this.it may be alright for beginners or people that dont need to power much. better than a daisy chain (barely) but absolutely not a substitute for a high quality power supply.
