Metal Replacement Stake for Solar Lights, 0.78" Diameter x 5.3" Height, Fits Only 0.8" Diameter Solar Light Poles – Won't Work if Pole is Too Large or Small (Metal 8 Pack)

I replaced my plastic stakes that originally came with my solar lights. The hole for the lights were a little bigger so I just wrapped duct tape around the end of the metal stakes and then the lights fit just fine! They go in the ground with no hassle. They also feel very sturdy! I love them and should have bought these as soon as I got my lights!

The material is metal but the stakes do not fit as promised.. I gave the product a 5 rating for value and material.

They look well made but they don't fit my original stakes. Diameter xexact same size of the light stem.

Replaced the plastic stakes that came with Costco GTX Solar Path Lights. Love the lights, but the stakes became soft and pliable from 85 degree heat and bent over time. The lights would become tilted. Some would fall over. These stakes fit perfectly - nice and snug. Only need a slight tap to get them flush with the poles. Easy to push into the ground. The lights are upright and stable. Very happy with this purchase.

These were narrower than my light posts, however, they do seem to be a better option than the plastic ones.They come with a plastic insert that mates with the stake. Although it was too narrow as well, what I did was go buy some 7/8" OD / 5/8" ID clear plastic hose from Home Depot (you only need about 5" of it, so cut the end without the tag and do what's obvious with the rest). Cut the hose very cleanly in lengths that match the plastic insert. Then cut the hose ring in half so you have 2 C-shaped parts. Wrap the insert with one of the C's and jam it in the post. Voila, tight fit and no issues. I give this product a 3 because I think the manufacturer should do some research and provide alternative different size inserts.

Since Amazon rejected my last review I will try it this way.. I know what size I needed (diameter) and the description said they were that size. When I got them the would not fit my lights..

These are metal based not plastic this is the GOOD stuff that will last. Very happy with quality of product and highly recommend compared to the cheap plastic will definitely buy again!!!!,

The connector was a bit small for my lights. A couple of wraps of electrical tape fixed that. Our dogs haven't broken a stake yet, been 3 weeks. It was 2-3 a month with the plastic stakes. Very strong stakes. A good value.
