2002 Yamaha V-Star Classic 650 developed a slight oil leak near the kickstand and found repair suggestions it could be the plastic neutral switch cracked. After 20 years, that seemed like a possibility. Taking off the metal cover, sure enough 1 of the 3 screw tabs was cracked. Swapped out with the replacement part and so far great, no leaks!

Even though I read some of the reviews that said it was too big I figured it was worth a shot. It was in fact too big but I made it fit. After a few rides it leaked. I pulled it out and it was warped. The oring was too big as well as you could see where it was damaged. I am going to try and return it. It was a waste of time but hopefully I will get a refund. Hopefully I can find something aftermarket that will work.

Arrived fast. Took a bit of fiddling to get it right. All in all, good product.

This is a good product it fixed the oil leak on my bike haven’t had a problem with it

Unit is about 1/16" to big in diameter and will not insert completely into the hole, even the o-ring is too thick to be used on the original unit. I ended-up using washers to overlap the cracked areas on the original to facilitate the repair. I damaged the unit while trying to install and cannot return.

Did not fit my wifes '07 Vstar 650. So close....but just maybe 1/16th too big. Buggered it up so it wasn't returnable. Got a Yamaha genuine part and it fit perfect.

Have buy anther 1 because the previous nuetral switch didn't have an o-ring

Like others have shared photos of, it doesn’t fit. They have to know this and sell it anyway.

Replaced item on my motorcycle and bike no longer leaks. Fast delivery. Well made product. Less expensive than bike shop and brand name item. Would buy from this seller again.
