This is a nice solar fountain! I was looking for a small pump to use as a bubbler to fit in a small porch rail birdbath. And this is it! It came just as the item description details, and it is simple to install. It has multiple spray tops that you can choose from, but I chose not to use one and it works fine for a bubbler. The 16 foot chord length is nice too and the solar panel is sturdy and not too big.It arrived as described in the item description and a day early. This is a good pump for the money. They give you several heads to get a variety of water sprinkle. Most of them go pretty high so if using a small bird bath the water may not stay in. I found not using a head works just fine for my bird friends.

I've had the product for about a week. For the first few days, before assembling and installing the unit, I left just the solar panel out in the sun to fully charge the conjoined battery pack. Then, when I first put it together, it worked immediately and beautifully -- and setup was a breeze. I installed the unit where the panel gets many hours of sun exposure each day. But now, a couple days in, the unit doesn't run once the sun starts to set. It's as if the battery won't charge, and the fountain works only when in direct sunlight. This defeats the whole purpose of getting this type of unit vs. those that don't have a battery pack. (So much for cloudy day functionality and night-time ambience.) Aside from that, it seems to work well overall. The box comes with several nozzle attachments that provide different options for the preferred shape and intensity of fountain output. I didn't want a tall / upright fountain spray, just wanted more of a gurgle since I'm using this for a bird bath, and the nozzle I'm using works great for that. I'd give this 5 stars if the unit worked in non-sunny conditions after charging up.

Great little fountain! Works like a charm! It's actually more powerful than I thought. Need to place on the lowest setting so it does not spash out of the bird bath.

This photo shows one of the only times it worked. The panel is in full sun and I have cleaned the filter. It stopped working the first day. I’m quite disappointed as I had spent quite a bit of time reading reviews before choosing a pump. The few hours it worked were nice, but it will now only intermittently work if you give a tap to the pump- as if something inside is not connected well. In addition, I had hoped the water would be higher. I had suctioned it to a mason jar to raise it inside the fountain, while still keeping it submerged.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a few solar fountains over the years. The last few years I’ve cobbled one together from parts I had from them. This year I decided to buy a new one. The solar panel seems well built, it’s glass not plastic. The cord to the pump is long enough so there are options for locating the panel. The pump is smaller than some I’ve had but so far it works fine in my shallow “pond”. I was pleased to see extra filter screens included. And there were many sprinkler nozzles included for various patterns. It’s supposed to have a battery so it will run for a while when the sun is no longer hitting the panel. This one doesn’t run as long as one I’ve had in the past. But I don’t expect it to run all night. I’m quite pleased with it!

It works but it said has a battery to store power. Never works without the sun and my spot is not sunny all day. So disappointing

Today is a very cloudy day, but this pump was going strong the moment I stepped out onto my patio. I like that the angle of its face can be secured by a wing nut, rather than depending on just a ratchet, as has been the case with previous fountains. It came with a number of variations for spray, too. Great buy!
