Instead of spending more money for someone else to fix my watch screen I tried it myself. I have some technical abilities and have replace screen and have done several iPhones before so I decided to tackle the watch. These tools worked well for what I needed and they were priced reasonably. The tools received were of good quality and should last for some time.

Not a good kit for me. Maybe if you done it a few times it maybe ok.Instructions tell you not to heat the item too long or you could damage the LCD screen. But there’s also no clear instructions on what is too hot of a temperature and what is a good temperature where you could use a laser thermometer. At two to 3 mins, my screen seem to be very warm, even though their instruction said 3 to 5 minutes. There is really no clear instructions on the exact placement of the wire to make sure you get it between the digitizer and the lens. If you mess up the digitizer, then you will also have to purchase that because it doesn’t come with the kit. So I installed the wire to what I thought I was between the digitizer and the lens. It seem to cut through the lens OK but once I got to the end, I realized that somehow the metal wire had cut through the digitizer and slid up into the LCD screen, which now is destroyed. So now I need $150 LCD screen with Lens and digitizer. Not really worth it now do to a used iwatch 3 is $100-150. I was hoping to save my polished stainless series 3.Instead of a steal metal wire you think you would used a fishing string type of wire that’s less damaging.

Instructions lacks clarity for the watch I need it for.

It doesn’t come with one part and missed to fix.

If you buy this to repair a Series 2 or 3, you will also need to buy a touch "digitizer" screen which is the layer immediately above the LCD screen. Although the product description clearly says it doesn't include the touch digitizer, I was under the impression that this could still work if the screen is cracked but the touch control still works. The instruction video for this product uses the video from a "jerryrigeverything" video where he repairs a Series 4 so from the video, it looks like you can replace the screen by itself. For series 2 and 3, the digitizer chip is connected to the cracked screen so you can't replace just the screen unless it's a Series 4 and up.

Way to hard for average DIY tech repair! The replacement screen glass was cracked when shipped. The directions it comes with are tiny and not helpful. After about 45 mins of watching videos and figuring out how to remove screen, I finally looked at the new screen from packing contents and noticed it was cracked badly. Also from following the directions of heating screen to remove broken glass I damaged the original main touch screen and now it’s worse than before. I’m pretty good with repairs and diy projects but this one is not worth it, just buy a whole new replacement screen instead of just the glass like this product.

I messed up doing mine going a quick way actually damaging the screen otherwise perfect thing to fix the crack down the middle of the glass. Read instructions carefully and following them and everything will work.

The glass is nice.It comes with a lot of tools but not good quality and most of them not required... only for confusing.The instructions are not well explained and they comes in a very small letters (and pictures); too difficult to read and follow.
