Works perfectly. Keeps flies out!!
The media could not be loaded. Installation was a cinch. Everything was included in the package. The unit is a bit heavy so you'll want help getting it mounted, but once it's up, it's sturdy and reliable. We've had it going for about a week now, and we've seen a huge impact on the number of flies that get into the house.

Not as loud as expected, plenty of airflow on Low.
Appears to be well-built and operates well. You can tell it's an equality machine. The switch is separately made in China, and although one of the parts wasn't included (the long screw), I ended up using my own anyway. Otherwise, the switch itself seems to have pretty decent quality components as well. For mounting, it took 20 minutes, and another 15 minutes for the switch, including figuring out where to place it. The switch has a normally closed and normally open option, so you can have it set up so that if you want it on when something's closed or you want it off when something's open, or the reverse when something's open. If you want it closed or normally open (i.e., when you want your fans to operate), those options are all within the switch.Plenty of air movement set to low on high. It is noticeably higher; however, once inside the house, you can barely tell, but it certainly seems to operate. This is about 8 and a 1/2 feet in the air and hits the ground pretty hard with air.

Great air curtain, awful switch
The air curtain itself is a solid unit, and mounting it was very easy. Where this unit loses stars is when it comes to the limit switch included with the air curtain. People have touched on this in other reviews, I will attempt to be comprehensive and thorough in explaining what you're in for with regards to the electrical wiring if you buy this air curtain:1. The air curtain comes pre-wired with a standard 3 prong grounded US 120vAC power cord. That's it, there's no other terminals on the unit, nothing.2. The air curtain has a switch with three settings: LOW, OFF, HIGH.3. The included limit switch is big, and an ugly beige color. The look of it alone failed the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor). Putting look aside, let's talk function. The limit switch works by having a metal "plunger/finger" be depressed. When the finger is pressed in, the unit is supposed to not be on. When the finger pops up (is no longer depressed), the unit turns on. The way this works is by routing the HOT/Line wire within the power cord through this switch (more on that below). In order to install the included limit switch you have to:1. Mount the limit switch on your door trim.2. Fabricate some metal bracket that you will attach to your door that will depress and release the limit switch as the door opens and closes. NO, the company does NOT make nor sell these. NO, they are not available for purchase on amazon or anywhere else. You literally have to fabricate this yourself.3. Assuming you manage to work through steps 1 & 2, it gets worse... now you have to CUT the end off of the pre-wired power cord and essentially route the HOT/Line conductor through the limit switch. In other words, you have to run a conductor (14ga or 16ga) from whatever outlet you're using to one side of the limit switch, and another conductor (14ga or 16ga) from the other side of the limit switch to the HOT/Line wire on the air curtain. You also have to connect the neutral wire on the air curtain to the neutral of the outlet, and the ground conductor of the air curtain to the ground of the outlet. There's a LOT that's messy about that step, and if it sounds weird and dangerous, it is. Regardless of HOW you connect to the outlet, the fact that you're presumably running 120v on the outside of your wall over to the limit switch and back again is NOT good (also probably not to code). Ok, so you run it in a conduit to protect the wires... now you have this large, ugly conduit running on your wall. The switch setup that the company expects you to use with this air curtain might be ok in an industrial warehouse, but not in a home.My solution:$50 later I have a solution that is (mostly) to code, a heckuva lot safer and has a clean look. Pictures attached.1. I installed a new outlet at the top of the wall, using a 2 gang box. I ordered a small 120vAC-to-12vDC transformer from Amazon. I also ordered a Shelly Plus 1 relay. I also ordered 12vDC magnetic reed switch from Amazon.2. Locally I purchased the 2 gang box, 14ga romex, the outlet, 24ga (I think?) white lamp wire, a custom build-your-own wall plate..3. I wired the Shelly relay to be powered by the 12vDC transformer. The magnetic reed switch is wired using the lamp wire to the Shelly relay, so only 12vDC is traveling over the exposed lamp wire. The HOT/Line terminal of the outlet is switched through the Shelly relay. When the reed switch opens (door opens), the shelly relay activates power to the outlet. When the reed switch closes (door closes), the shelly relay deactivates power to the outlet. The Shelly Plus1 and transformer comfortably sit on the left side of the 2 gang box, and the outlet sits on the right side.4. The air curtain is plugged into the wall outlet, and I leave the air curtain switch in the "HIGH" setting.I distanced the two parts of the magnetic reed switch far enough apart that the reed switch opens with just the slightest movement of the door. Some positives of this setup include:1. No cutting or modifying the air curtain2. No high voltage running outside of the outlet box or anywhere dangerous3. white lamp cord hides nicely against the white trim of the door (one I staple it down)4. The Shelly Plus 1 is a really neat unit - in addition to it being a relay it also connects to WiFi and can be used within a smart home setup. "Alexa, turn on the air curtain" is also a thing I can do. Home Assistant also supports Shelly devices. Shelly has a fantastic community of supporters on Reddit.

Mostly efficient to prevent flies in the house
My reason for purchasing this unit is to keep flies out of the house. The air curtain came in the original box with another box over the outside. I bought the unit "Used good condition" from amazon and the unit was in good condition but missing the switch. Amazon support does not have an option for having a missing part sent but does have an option to return it for a refund but I chose to keep the unit as it is fully functional and the total price for including shipping was just under $139 thus I felt this was a great value buy. I placed the unit in my garage door just outside my kitchen and there was an outlet in my garage that was reasonably close to power the unit. I ordered this Gagalor2 Sets NO&NC Magnetic Switch Door Contact Sensor Surface Mounted from Amazon for $8.37 including tax. Link to magnetic switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BMFZQK6T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The magnetic switch mounting and wire connection was fairly simple and straight forward. You simply divide the yellow wire and connect the ends to the common and N.O. leads. When the door opens, the unit then powers on. It took about an hour to install the unit, mount and wire the magnetic switch. As expected there is a small time lag of approximately 1 second before there is a sufficient air flow when the door is opened. There is also a gap of 4 inches in the middle of the fan that has no or minimal air flow. Between the small gap and the time lag of powering the unit, it is not 100% efficient in keeping flies out of the house but it is certainly better than before. I suppose the efficiency would improve if the door is cracked open 1" to activate the circuit before fully opening the door but I don't always remember to do this, especially if I am in a hurry. My wife and kids would never do this so I chose not to even try to instruct them to pause 1 second before fully opening the door. It is my opinion that the small gap in the middle with the lack of air flow is less of a problem than the extension lag but I have no real proof. Overall I'm very pleased with the product as the mounting wasn't too difficult but would recommend placing new holes in the bracket to mount to a stud or two. I would recommend this unit. Be sure you have sufficient clearance above the door for the unit.

Great buy
We bought two of these fans and have placed them over our double doors. They work great. We no longer have a fly problem
