My autistic students love this for our calm down corner

I wanted to love this product. I am a homeschool mom and my kids are young. I ordered it to help in our calm down corner and during reading time. They like having something to fidget with and hold while we read together.. however I’m finding the quality or maybe material in the squishy items are terrible. They lost the “soft” feeling as soon as they were dropped on the floor and picked up lint and a little dog hair from the rug. I tried washing them but now they are even more sticky, and even more susceptible to lint and dog hair. The residue it leaves on our hands is a little questionable too. Any advice for what I can put on them to make them soft again? Or should I just trash it? I do like the bubble/oil visual toy. But also waiting for that to break as other reviews have said.

The posters are great and the kids like the calming items but the ball and container broke with just normal use immediately. The timer was dropped on our tile and it cracked too. We’ve owned it for a few hours :-(

It was bought as a birthday present for my son. Just opened it today and he loves everything. Unfortunately the ball came with a hole in it so I have to find a replacement.

I bought for the container as well which was not green and arrived broken. This was supposed to be a sensory toolbox for a student, and now I will havr to purchase another box.
