I have used to types of drain cleaners ( a week apart) and my tub was still draining super slow. I was nearing the point of giving up and paying for a plumber. I decided to try this and see if it could help. My one problem was the head of it had to be contorted a bit to fit in my bathtub drain. My first try was a few feet and I brought it up. It had a quarter sized group of yucky hair clumpage. I ran the water and was dismayed to see the tub start to fill up as the water drained only slightly. I decided to try again. This time after a couple minutes, all the water that had settled there between my attempts began to drain rapidly. I pulled it up and it came with the largest clump of black funky gunk I had every seen. It made a small splash as the end of the metal came victoriously back out of my drain. I pulled up the remaining black gunk using a yellow 15 inch drain pull. I ran water to clean and celebrated as it easily ran down the drain.

It was the wrong size

I used it once, but worked great!

The auger tip broke off in the drain the very first time that I tried to use it. Then I had another issue to deal with- retrieving the auger tip from the drain along with the clog. The very expensive plumber that I was forced to hire thought it was amusing. He'd never seen that happen before. Said the auger was probably a cheap Chinese knock-off being peddled on-line. Hmmm.

I have a nine year old autistic son that is always putting things down the bathroom sink. Usually I can clear it with the hand operated auger. This time whatever he put down there was backing up the sink and my handheld just would not do the job. 10 minutes after using this battery operated machine whatever was down there got broken up and pushed through. My sink is completely opened. This is a powerful snake drain. I highly recommend this Populo model to anyone.

Are use different versions of this product for different projects. This product is made well while lightweight. The motor seems heavy duty enough to drive through any clog and household bass, tub, and commodes .

Finally used this thing. It was amazing. I had been using a manual snake for years. I can't believe it took me so long to try this.
