This kit stopped my Home Depot Husky Air Compressor from Leaking Air. Since I don't use this compressor every day, I shut it off between uses. When it was new, it would hold the tank pressure with very little leakage. However, it started leaking so badly that every time I would want to use it, the tank would be empty. So, I would have to turn it on and wait for it to pressurize the tank before I could use it. Also, the pressure regulator knob became extremely hard to turn when I would want to set the output pressure over 100 lbs.When I checked my manual I realized that Husky only sold a complete regulator assembly. I was reasonably sure that all my regulator needed was a few worn parts replaced, so I looked on Amazon and found this kit. All of the parts in the kit fit perfectly. The only part that I didn't use was the large "O" ring. It is not needed for this regulator. Also, unlike some reviewers reported, I received plenty of grease in a tube to lubricate the regulator parts.This kit fixed the leaking & hard to turn pressure regulator knob problems. The compressor again works like new. It saved me quite a bit of money & time replacing the entire regulator assembly.I would highly recommend trying this repair kit before purchasing a new regulator.

My pressure regulator on my air compressor quit working, found the part number for a rebuild kit, searched the "WEB"and Amazon had the best price. I ordered the kit, I received it quickly and it was well packaged.I removed the defective parts from the compressor, installed the new kit parts, reassembled the regulator and tested. I`m very pleased with the results. It`s much easier to adjust and maintain set pressure. Very pleased with purchase.

Very easy and so far it worked to fix my 2005 Compressor.

All fit perfectly. But you are supposed to use lube on the o-rings. No problem there. I knew what to do. The package came with a plastic bag labeled lube, that was, in my case, completely, utterly empty. Luckily I had a tube of silicon grease designed for that purpose. The kit should have been complete though.If you find that your kit is lacking lubricant as was mine, then you should use a silicon grease designed for o-rings. Petroleum jelly might seem to work, but it can degrade rubber.

Used this kit to fix a leaking regulator on an old Porter Cable C2001-wk air compressor. Most online parts stores don't show it but this kit fit and worked well. Cleaned inside of housing and had to use both 'spare o-rings' on the plug on the back side of the regulator. It includes o-ring lube and has photos to show what to lube.

Well that was easy! I have a Porta Cable 4 gallon 135 PSI portable compressor that was leaking out of the regulator. I took it apart a few times, cleaned, flipped over the seals, but the one flat seal was cracked beyond hope. Looked for a rebuild kit, and found this kit crossed over to the factory part number.Parts in the rebuilt kit were an exact fit, put it back together, and presto, no air leak. Good job.

This kit will work to repair the regulator on a Dewalt 55168 air compressor, but it's not a clean install. As mentioned in a couple of videos that use this kit, the black disk is too thick. You'll need to retain your original disk, and replace the seal with the one you pull off the oversized black disk. Not a big deal in the grand scheme, but you're going to THINK everything went back together fine, until you charge the compressor and the regulated air pressure matches your tank pressure. The grease that's provided is also suboptimal. I ended up using dialectic grease I had on hand. The O-ring for the plunger is also different than what's on the original plug, but I used it anyway and it seems to be working. Unfortunately I'm not sure there's a better option. These repair kits are probably all manufactured in the same factory in china, since they all look the same in the pictures.
