sturdy and can take the pressure
I am so glad I spent the extra couple dollars to buy a wood and metal tool instead of the cheap plastic one. I used the same spline from the original screen and because the new screen was cat-proof, it was thicker making it pretty hard to squeeze the spline and new screen into the channel. A plastic tool would have surely broken. This one had one of the wheels not spin freely but I used a screw driver to spread the space of the metal axel and the wheel spins freely now.

Perfect for screen mesh replacement
This tool is grippy and strong and easy to work with. I’d recommend having some gloves while you’re doing this because you can sometimes slip and hurt your fingers a little bit in the process. I also only use the single edge side in my opinion. I’ve noticed that when you use the double side, sometimes it will actually tear a little hole on the inside corner where you are laying the screen mesh, and then you have to redo the replacement. When I am installing mesh, I liked to always push the rubber spline in from the outer edge of the rubber, so that I don’t have the possibility of damaging the inside part of the mesh. Also, I found if you’re trying to get it in it is helpful to have a flathead screwdriver to push in the corners and then also I would pull the screen nice and tight while at the same time you’re going to pull the rubber spline nice and tight so that it can make it easy for you to roll it into the frame and then loosen up so that the rubber can expand once it’s sitting in the frame.

It’s fine
Tool works and build quality is fine. However, there should be a concave and a convex wheel but both are convex.
