As my hair has changed with the inevitable effects of age, I've tried so many products to help me manage my less-soft gray strands and gradually thinning mane. Vegan Mia's Shine hair oil certainly sounded like it could be the one, especially since it's made with some seriously lush plant oils and a combination of science-backed essential oils that encourage hair growth. Also, not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for pretty packaging lol. So I ordered some, and I must say I'm impressed!For one, I love how versatile Shine is because I can use it as a hair serum to smooth out the kinks and also as a scalp treatment for growth. Compared to other hair oils, Shine isn't super thick, so it glides on my hair smoothly and easily. The light consistency also doesn't leave my hair greasy or with that 'weighed down' feeling. It coats the strands just enough to tame the wildness and gives it a noticeable, um, shine.As a hair growth treatment, of course I can't say it has made my hair grow yet since it's only been a week, and that would be a miracle. But it feels so great massaging it into my follicles! I can even feel a almost minty stimulating sensation on my scalp for a while after working it into my head. You can smell the scent while massaging the oil on your hair and scalp. It gives you a very relaxing mood and mind. That's very great!Lastly, after using this hair oil for almost 3 weeks, it's very noticeable the changes in my hair. It becomes more shiny, thicker, and healthy.Apart from that, my main issue was my itchy scalp and "UNLIMITED" dandruff. I already tried all the premium shampoos and conditioners with anti-dandruff features. Imagine, I spent so much time and MONEY, BUT nothing happened, and I almost gave up on my "UNLIMITED DANDRUFF". It was very frustrating and couldn't find my confidence back because I always had falling dandruff on my shoulders. Even though I used a white t-shirt to hide them, my stubborn dandruff was still visible on the back of my ears and neck.So I'm very grateful for this hair oil from Vegan Mia. It is summer and I’m always in my swimming pool, that tends to dry my scalp and hair out making my scalp itchy. Since using this oil, my scalp is not dry or itchy anymore. The oils have being nourishing my dry hair so my hair is feel soft & looking shiny again. My hair is less brittle than it was. I like the scent and I find that the oil is not real heavy as others I have used before. I really like this hair oil, it is also good for skin.

I have an itchy patch on my melon that won't go away. It itches so bad I regularly scratch chunks of skin from my scalp. In my desperation, I tried this rosemary oil. What drew me to it was that they claim it's good for the scalp AND good for "taming frizz". What had me worried is that a previous brand of rosemary oil I purchased smelled much more potent, so it's effectiveness was already called into question.While I received a tiny bit of relief from the scalp issue, my frizzies got worse. I did NOT get as much relief as the "other" rosemary oil I previously tried. After using for a month, I haven't noticed any new hair growth either. My take is that it might work for some people, but it didn't work for me. I will continue to use until it's gone, and if anything changes, I will update accordingly.
