Q: can I use this to install windows os on my pc I just noticed I got a pc with no disc drive and ordered the disc version of the os will this work?

The answer is yes I was an idiot and bought a computer case that didn't have a DVD drive cuz I didn't think I needed one but on the same time, I bought it windows on a DVD like an idiot. so I bought this external DVD drive plugged it in and booted off the external DVD drive in the boot menu and it worked my motherboard is an Asus I'm assuming most motherboards have this option now but you might want to make sure it's USB 3.0 on the motherboard.
