I bought a camera tripod at a Goodwill store. It was missing the mounting plate. I measured the footprint area for the mounting plate and found this product here on Amazon. It fit perfectly! I am very happy with how well it fit my new tripod like it was originally part of the equipment

Double checked measurement and a perfect fit

Was listed as fitting the Ambico V-0552 tripod. It did not fit at all. First, it was too large. And it did not have the notch in its base for the tripod's retaining lever. The surface that the camera mounts to, the top of the adapter, is smaller than the original mount and therefore not likely to be as stable as the original either.Returned to Amazon immediately for refund.

It works but a bit thin and flimsy with the plastic.

This is a somewhat lesser quality plate but not seriously so and a good value. It seems sturdy enough to last, and two were much cheaper than one is elsewhere. It easily fit my Vivitar and Samsung 1100 tripods. Excellent for the price.
