I purchased this computer here in October 2022 during a post-PrimeDay/pre-BlackFriday Lightning Deal. If you also bought it, make sure to check your warranty expiration date per the HP Support Assistant app (it comes pinned in the taskbar if you haven't yet unpinned it). Mine was dated to expire as soon as May of 2023! I found out later that's because HP automatically starts the 1-year warranty based on when Amazon purchased these in bulk from HP. Fortunately HP provides a place to dispute your warranty (apparently this is a Known Issue) - I uploaded my proof of purchase, waited a few days, uploaded it again, waited a few more days. After a week of waiting, I called HP Support, and endured a long phone call while the agent finally updated my warranty expiration from May 2023 to October 2023. Never had this happen with any other product before.

I use it for general gaming and 4K playback-- this is a reasonable buy for what it is as of January 2022..it has a CPU that does some good quality gaming at 1080p. AMD is coming out with more advanced CPU's and also now a graphics card that uses little power due to its efficiency although that is an extra $209 motherboard plugin to do even better gaming at 4K. The very best NVIDIA cards would tax the power supply of this PC too much. This is a good medium PC unless you are fanatic that must absolutely have the very best or latest which would cost +$2000 instead of the $799 I paid.

I'm not sure what reviewer "Houstonp" was doing but I've yet to push this computer so far that it lags as much as their review claims. I'm currently writing this review on Firefox (with 22 tabs open) and streaming music on Spotify. I routinely stream 4k video and music at the same time and haven't experienced any issues.My only complaint regarding this computer is that if you want to game then you're going to want to pick something else. The onboard GPU is great for watching 4k video etc but to upgrade to something like a modern RTX card you'll want to upgrade the power supply which, unfortunately, is a propriety (pin) unit. You can find an option online without issue but it's still kind of a pain in the A.If you're looking for a reliable, quick, and quality computer to do "basic" stuff (that's not gaming [without upgrading]) then this is a pretty good option. I will be upgrading it (GPU & PU) eventually to use as another gaming setup but, overall, I am rather happy with my purchase.

This Windows 11 seems to perform well in all respects. I especially like the faster reboot and that I did not have to get a third party graphics card to handle the processing stress with my Cyberlink photo and video processing as before. Love it! Windows 11 takes a little time to get used to. For example, I miss being able to quickly access the Control Panel in the Start menu, but that may be my lack of education to do the same with Win 11.

My new HP computer with the AMD processor is awesome. It has great speed and Windows 11 is a step up for me from Windows 10. Lots of USB ports and the 16g RAM is a game changer. I am not a gamer and haven't had to contact support so that is only reason I didn't rate them here. Really recommend this compact computer for anyone looking to upgrade and have a very nice computer for any activity!

Waste of money. If you want to use an average setup (mouse, keyboard, two monitors, and computer speakers), don't buy this computer. If you want to play video games, don't buy this computer. If you want to upgrade components, don't buy this computer.1 year and 1 month after purchasing it, I got a blue screen of death, which I believe is due to the weak 180W PSU. Since then, the GPU, one stick of RAM, and the computer's HDMI port for my monitor have all stopped working. Before the blue screen of death, it was a great home office computer. It is not suitable for playing video games, especially new games. The computer uses proprietary HP parts, so it limits the options for upgrading components.I am very disappointed. I had hoped to use this computer for years to come, but after just over a year, it isn't fully functional. :(

Good all around office computer. Runs Office and Quickbooks. Good value. The price was right. EOS

I use it for multiple webcams in my music studio. This unit has numerous usb ports. Had trouble in the beginning and ended up reinstalling Windows. Since then, all is well. Very happy with the purchase.
