It takes 75 seconds to fill the tank. Did I install correctly? Otherwise it works fine.

The only reason I purchased this fill valve system is because it took too long for my tank to fill. This model's specifications states that: "PerforMAX technology achieves 2X greater refill rate". It takes 140 seconds to fill my 3.5 gallon tank. This is slower than the old Fluidmaster I replaced. I am not happy about the purchase.

What is the size of water line connection ?

THE SUPPLY LINE IS 7/8 INSIDE DIAMETER THREAD BUT THE ACTUAL INSIDE WATER SUPPLY DIAMETER IS 3/8.

Why does my toilet clog?

There are a number of possible reasons. Old metal pipes can corrode and narrow. Hard water can build up a layer of calcium in the pipes. There could be tree roots in a pipe. Someone could be flushing something they incorrectly think is flushable...

What's the blue plastic device attached on the rubber hose of the 400AH?

The flushing power of a toilet comes from the water in the tank (and specifically the height of the water), and the blue plastic device has nothing to do with the tank fill. The blue plastic is a flow restrictor for the water going into the bowl. Depending on your water pressure, you may get different fill rates in the tank and the bowl. Excess water in the bowl simply goes down the drain, so you can slow down the bowl refill so that bowl and tank refill at the same time, saving water.
