These were a game changer for my senior dog. He was starting to slip on the tiled steps to my basement, so I stopped letting him come downstairs to "help" me with the laundry and that made him sad. So I took a chance on these reasonably priced stair treads and I have no regrets! Idk what kind of adhesive they use, but it's pretty amazing-- they stick down really tight to the floor underneath, yet you can still pull them up and move them if you want. I had to redo some of them multiple times just to get it perfectly centered on my step (before I made myself a template) and it kept its stickiness through it all. I've had these for a couple of years now (I think) and none of them have ever come up. Dirt and stains wash off pretty easily, too. I have two dogs and two cats who have traversed these treads probably hundreds up times each by this point and they're still holding up! They don't look worn-out either. And they don't look or feel cheap in person. I would definitely buy them again.

I absolutely love these stair treads! We've had them for about 4 months and they have held up extremely well. Even with a puppy and child running up and down the steps, they still look brand new with no shedding! Very easy to install and keep clean with vacuuming. They do have a scent to them most likely from the no slip adhesive for several weeks after installing but that fades. Also, they absolutely do not cause any damage when lifting/removing to clean underneath when cleaning/polishing the wood. Just lift one side to clean then the other to keep in the same position of where you like them. After considering custom treads I am more than happy that I decided to purchase these.

I’ve had these for about a year now and have been very pleased with them! They absolutely do not budge, even when I vacuum them. No residue whatsoever if you need to pull them up or reposition them. I haven’t tried washing them yet, but I can’t see any reason why they wouldn’t hold up. The only downside is that they’re made of fairly cheap carpet, so in a high traffic area like a staircase, they will start to mat down a bit like any carpet would. Still well worth the money and a great alternative to a stair runner that needs to be stapled down.

Ok so I have had these installed on my unfinished basement stairs for maybe a week. I had other ones on my basement stairs previously they lasted 8 years. These feel like really good quality carpet. I love the feel of them but they don’t stick well. The other ones I got never budged but the carpet was definitely not as nice as these. They’re thicker too so when you don’t step directly on the square it hurts to step on the edge of it. They were double the coat of my old ones too and now I have to purchase some kind of adhesive to keep them in place. I saw cheaper ones when I got these but I decided to splurge. These are also smaller than my old ones. I’m kind of disappointed with the price and functionality of it. Definitely doesn’t cover the whole step like the other ones and I have to purchase some kind of adhesive additionally. They feel nice and they feel good quality like they will last. But when you step off the carpet and on the step that ridge hurts. Hope this helps someone buying them. It’s nice quality carpet on it no fraying just wish it was bigger and better adhesive. I assumed all steps are about the same size. So I should’ve measured it before hand. If you see in the picture the old ones covered the whole step. They were gross after a old hot water heater leaked on the way up and out. They are nice I won’t be returning them I just need to find a way to make them stay in place.

If you have wooden stairs that don’t mix well with dogs, get these! My poor 90lb dog has had a few slips down our stairs, it scared him and me. Before I invested in and purchased the Oak Valley brand which are very pretty, I thought I would pilot these with a more affordable option first. WOW these did not disappoint! These look great and do not budge. It was like magic, my pup took to them like a fish in water and has so much comfort and confidence now going up and down the stairs. Make sure to peel all the plastic film off the back, they will work beautifully.

I got these for my senior dog. Unfortunately she has refused to use them, but I really like them as it cuts down on noise going up and down. I wish they made some corner ones because it looks a little weird, but it doesn't bother me. They stick well as well and I have had no issues with them moving on the tread.

I love these rugs. I am going through a renovation so I tore up the ancient dark runner that was here and took a chance on these reasonable, well made little rugs. I just came back to by a larger one for the bottom of my stairs because my senior lab managed the staris perfectly because of these fantasic rugs, and slipped when he hit the floor at the bottom. I have a hard time taking a chance on something cheap because I get afraid. I took a chance on these and Im so glad I did. They stay put. They look great and feel nice underfoot and make my stairs safe for senior dogs and people.

I purchased this for the landing on my steps leading downstairs. It fits perfectly, it stays in place while being walked on, is a great texture, and is very well-made. Most rugs tend to have a smell to them, but not this one!! So far no shedding. I got the light tan in color, which looks really nice.
