Hands-down the best pan I've ever used.
I've used a lot of non-stick pans over the years, and sooner or later they've eventually started sticking or flaking off Teflon coatings. Generally I'd gotten cheaper pans and put up with the flaking into my food. I researched pans a bunch on Amazon back in 2009, and decided to swing for some higher-end cookware, hoping that it meant durability would be better. After about two years of use, our All-Clad Master Chef 2 Nonstick 10-Inch Fry Pan started flaking on the top edge despite being fanatically careful about making sure it didn't get too hot, not using metal utensils anywhere near it, using any sort of abrasive pad washing it, or even washing it before the pan had cooled down. This correlated with the reviews I'd read, and the replacement process sounded like I'd be out of a pan for weeks, plus I wanted to get away from PFOE coatings. We next bought a Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 10-1/4-Inch Skillet with Iron Handle, Red , which became our go-to pan, but despite all of the reviews swearing they were great for eggs, I've generally had to make an intended omelet into scrambled eggs because of sticking (even if I used a generous portion of butter or olive oil). I started searching for PFOE-free pans after once again making a scramble, and stumbled across the Woll Nowo. The thing is bombproof. Titanium is awesome. Metal utensils is no biggie. It's a little slow to heat but like the Le Creuset, once it gets going it retains heat incredibly well. The pan cooks more evenly than the All-Clad. The detachable handle comes off easily, and can be put back on easily. I've cooked frittatas with it on the stovetop and then finished it in the oven, and it's all an easy motion. Be a little careful as the base of the handle can get pretty toasty after cooking for awhile. Eggs never, ever stick. You can use less oil/butter/you name it, as nothing I've cooked in the last 2 months has managed to stick to it. Stuff I thought of as tricky is now cake. Omelets are a snap. This last weekend I made crepes in them, never needed butter or oil to coat the pan. And given that the pan right now is almost $20 cheaper than the All-Clad, I feel silly for having put out more for something less durable.

So good so far Edit: Still great
9/21/14 So good so far, the only thing that made me sad was I still get those burn lines on the bottom light metal rings on the pan after just a month or two of use, I was hoping since these were nice high quality my electric coil burners wouldn't discolor it, but thats not the case. Great pan though, Stays hot a looong time so Ive had to adjust my cooking style a bit. Very heavy. Edit 4/3/15: Had this pan for 6-7 months now, nonstick coating is still flawless, the underside heat ring is now brown but no matter the quality that happens with any pan. I hand wash only of course. I have to use a lot less oil in this one than a regular pan because of how good the nonstick is, and I throw it in the oven all the time, the detachable handle is great for that, I actually use it to pull it out of the oven without mitts, and its good for storage as well. Its a heavy pan, but I'm happy with it. Edit 2: 10/2/15 Still amazingly nonstick, I am really abusive to my pans and do use a brush scrubber to clean it, never been put in the dishwasher, it has very very small black spots that faintly look like the nonstick is coming off about as big as grains of sand, havent had a single problem with it yet though, the weight of it throws me off every once and a while.

Worth every penny!!!
Worth every penny!!! The price for this quality pan is exceptional. The pan weight feels more like a high quality iron pan. The website, of the German manufacture, "Woll", said to season it by heating a few tablespoons of oil in it ... after washing the pan. Turn the heat off and rub the oil around the pan with a paper towel. Now, it is ready to be used. First use ... I fried eggs ... perfect results, then chicken ... the pan browned it beautifully. Then I cooked a half a cup of brown rice and browned it in the pan with one tablespoon of butter and a few sprinkles of low sodium soy sauce. The rice browned ... on medium heat to low. Note: The reason for this purchase was because I did a web search for the safest cookware to use. I was looking for a high quality enamel pan. After reading many reviews it came down to nothing being safe. The sites even listed stainless steel not being safe. Lets use our brain and common sense here. A high quality stainless steel cookware, will not leach out any metal to harm us and nothing is wrong with corning ware ... accept when it comes to frying an egg...it sticks! But, the titanium coated pans are very safe ... depending on the manufacture. Note: I prefer,"Woll". Last: Did you know that the Australian manufacture of Brevell came up with their own patent on their Brevell Panini and they sold them to restaurants and eateries. The machine is coated with titanium and you never have to add oil to the surface...it heats fast and browns food. It's the original panini grill and Amazon sells it too. I hope this information is helpful. ................................................................... Update: I purchased four more pieces for our kitchen and ordered two, 12 and half inch pans for family members. I ordered a high quality stainless lid from a Kitchen supply company on line for $14.00. It fits the pan perfectly. Hope this is helpful. Happy New Year.

Great pan. I have a wonky electric stove that doesn't work very well, and this pan still heats evenly for great results. It's a bit heavy, but it's worth the heft for the quality. The fact the handle comes off makes it so versatile for oven use and also small apartment storage. I use it daily with wooden utensils and a bit of high-temp oil (not EVOO). My La Creuset browns even better, but you can't beat the nonstick coating on this pan for the kind of cooking you can do with it. Great for eggs.

The frying pan works great. By the way if you happen to use an induction stovetop you just need a thin adapter for pans that don’t use an induction stovetop. They work great. You can order them on Amazon as well. For this pan get the 8 inch adaptor :) an adapter worked well for me.
