This was an easy install and has been working Great on my 1963 ford 601. Fired right up and ran smooth with the basic setup called out in the ford manual. I plan to rebuild the original cast iron and swap them when needed to keep the tractor up and running. This carb body is made out of a aluminum type material that is light weight but it is manufactured well. No burrs or sharp edges.

This is a replacement carburetor for a 1964 Ford 2000 4 cylinder tractor. The manufacturer is listed as THUNDERMINGO and the model number is TSX-765. It was a perfect match for the original carburetor and only took a few minutes to install. New mounting studs, nylok nuts, and gasket were provided in the kit. The motor immediately roared back to life and the machine is ready to go back to work. I had purchased a similar carb from Amazon that was made by laffoonparts and was supposed to be a TSX-765 but was actually a TSX-428 and was not compatible. An excellent carburetor at a reasonable price.

Caution CHECK YOUR BOLT FLANGE PATTERN on your manifold prior to ordering. Ordered 3 wrong ones before I realized mine has a 2-3/8 bolt spacing (some new are 2-1/2). Replaced original OEM carb with this reproduction on a 57 ford 661 workmaster. Fit/finish/cleanliness was excellent. It was running a little rough with manufactured setting. My 80 year old dad came out and listened to it running with a slight miss. Had it adjusted and running perfect in under 2 minutes...and he has bad hearing. So, for the $$ it's a great part. Highly Recommended!

This is what happens when a person tries to NOT spend a lot of money...you buy something made in China that just won't work. Mounting holes do not line up. Tried to make it work, but to no avail. Don't waste any money of this - just go ahead and get a good aftermarket carb!

Works great installed adjusted and tractor started right up a little tuning runs great.

Went right on and worked fineI was using it on an old Massey Harris 81 tractor with a continental engine, but I had to mess with the choke mounting.This is NOT the fault of the seller. They listed the direct fitment and I knew in advance I would have to tweak a few things

Fit as advertised and for the price is great quality. Eventually, I will probably re-build the original carburetor to have his back up, but so far I’m very pleased with the new carburetor’s performance

This shopped quickly and arrived in a standard box. Upon opening I immediately noticed the difference in weight and materials used in this carburetor compared to the original. My original carb is cast iron and this is some sort of light weight pot metal. I haven’t installed this yet but everything appears the same with the exception of two adjustment screws that are on the opposite side from the original. Hopefully, this works and I haven’t wasted my money. The good news is it was half the price of a rebuild kit so, fingers crossed. I’ll update if it doesn’t work…
