Works with rod socks/covers on the rods. I mounted it to where the butt of the handle sits on the ground. I don't know how well it would work with rod socks if you didn't want your handle touching the ground with the rid suspended. The keeper arms also drag on the round headed machine screws I used. I have to gently force the past the screw. I need to find some beveled headed screws and nuts as I drilled through and mounted mine on the side wall of a cabinet. If your mounting this to wood, then a traditional beveled head wood screw would be fine.

Holds rods securely regardless of wall ceiling or diagonal placement. Amazing and versatile solution for rod storage. Only improvement is color. Wish it came all black. But I would buy and recommend this product for anyone. Certainly priced right for versatility of product.

Work amazing for all fresh water poles. The slopes are a little too small for surf fishing poles. Sturdy and holds everything securely.

Easy to install and use! The grip is strong and can accommodate our large and small fishing poles! This helps keep all our poles from getting tangled or broken in a pile in the corner of the garage! It is also very esthetically pleasing!!
