Does it come in just a flat box or is the flat box in a giant box filled with bubble wrap

The Artisan flat cardboard packaging comes bubble-wrapped. Whether that's in a larger box I'm pretty sure but not 100%. Once unwrapped, the Artisan cardboard package was in perfect condition as seen in a video I posted to answer another question about the packaging.

Does the pad come flat in a package or rolled?

The pad comes flat in Artisan's sturdy cardboard packaging. Artisan's square label is in the middle of the front side and is written beautifully in Japanese and English. Artisan's logo is also stamped on the front. The package is opened with a cardboard tab used to pull a ribbed line near/along one edge. I've also ordered pads directly from Artisan before, and this one is genuine.

how would I clean it?

Soak in tub with lukewarm water and a little dishwater detergent. Leave for a an hour. Scrub with microfiber washcloth. Gently work edges with a soft toothbrush. Leave for another hour our two. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. Air dry on flat surface. Will be like new.
