Pastel Tones

Pretty colors , great quality. No bleed sp perfect for bible study. Good quality and easy to see through

The colors in set a beautiful (dusty set). These are listed as highlighters but they are more like high quality smooth marking crayons. The coverage is very good. The media does not bleed through the pages of my Bible which is perfect. I enjoy using these pens and like the feel of the pens. I would recommend them to anyone

Pretty cool. Truly no bleed and nifty earthtone colors. Might prefer a point vs the flat end for easier line alignment, but just sharpen yourself and get to highlighting.

I bought these highlighters to use with the travel guidebooks that I read (thin pages that bleed through). I bought the pastel earthy colors for a nice change. Holy cow, these highlighters are cool/bizarre/lovely. Can't decide on the best adjective to describe! Most of all, they are SMOOTH. Like they glide across the page like...a lipstick? I know that sounds weird but they have this ultra smooth, creamy texture that it feels like I'm applying a moistruizing lipstick to the page! No, they don't bleed through. Yes, the colors do "highlight" (although the yellows are the best. They do smudge pencil, though, especially if it's fresh on the page (and same goes for gel ink) so make sure to let your pencil or ink dry before immediately highlighting. The depletion rate is pretty high, though, meaning that after one swipe over a sentence and you'll already see that a lot of product is used so these might not last for long if you do a lot of highlighting. The brownish/maroon color is great but looks better over blue ink than black, if you ask me. These don't behave exactly like crayons. They're much smoother, don't skip, but they WILL transfer to the back of a page that you write on if there's highlighting from the previous page underneath. I gave them 4 stars. They're not perfect but they're really neat and I love using them.

These are superb!! They go on like butter but there is zero oil to stain or spread on the page. No bleed through even on delicate scripture pages!

I originally bought these gel highlighters years ago. To be honest, I am not sure why I bought them or what drew me to them. Based on the photos, I knew they weren’t regular highlighters. I was a bit uncertain how I felt about them when I got them. As many reviews have said, they are like a very soft crayon, almost like a soft pastel but a little more firm and durable. However, I NEVER used them. I think I gave a pack (I bought two) to my friend in ministry along with a dozen bibles. I kept a pack but it’s been stored away with random highlighters, untouched. I kept a compact NKJV bible that I mostly read out of now — the pages are your typical transparent/thin bible paper. My intention was not to highlight in this bible, or any bibles like this (thin/transparent pages) that I had because they are so delicate. However, it’s now one of my only bibles and I just CAN’T not highlight as the read the bible, haha. As most of you know, regular markers or highlighters are a literal a no go with these kind of pages, so I pulled these out and honestly, I LOVE them. BUT — I will say…these highlighters are good SIMPLY for highlighting on that thin/transparent bible paper. I think I remember trying to use them in my bibles with thicker paper (study bibles and/or devotional bibles) and they were more likely to smear and was just an unpleasant experience. I genuinely think as long as you use these to highlight on specific bible paper, you will be satisfied. Using them in any other way, on any other paper, it’s seems they will disappoint. Again, ONLY if you want to use these SIMPLY to HIGHLIGHT Scripture on transparent/thin bible paper, these are an answer to your bible highlighting prayers. As for smudging — I found as long as you don’t push too hard and let it breathe for a minute, it’s completely fine. I personally will highlight over words maybe three times but I do it lightly. It wasn’t my intention to write so long of a review but a shorter version, I honestly think these highlighters are great — if you use them specifically. It seems these highlighters were created specifically for bibles with that thin/transparent paper. If you’re looking to only use them to highlight words on that type of paper, I think you will be satisfied. But trying to use them beyond highlighting and/or on any thicker of paper, you may run into some issues (smudging, smearing, clumping) and will most likely be dissatisfied. They truly do not bleed through on standard transparent/thin bible paper and I think that is exactly what they were intended to do.

I like them because they don’t bleed through but hits hard to see the color and what I’m highlighting. I have to go over some stuff a couple of times. Cute but I had to buy another kind of highlighters.

These Bible markers are amazing! The colors are bright and beautiful without bleeding through most Bible pages, which was my biggest concern. They glide on smoothly, dry quickly, and make it easy to highlight verses without smudging. They also don’t leave the pages wrinkled like some regular highlighters do. If you enjoy Bible journaling or studying Scripture, I definitely recommend these. Great quality and worth the purchase!

It’s like a gel/wax highlighter and it sits right on top of the page, no bleed through at all. The colours are super nice and pastel. I love that they smell faintly of honey. Will be buying more when I run out, so definitely recommend.

Casi todos los colores son superligeros

I have been using these to highlight my bible passages and for my journaling. I love the wide variety of pastel colours and that it works perfect for thin pages without seeing that dreaded bleed.

However, these are the best Bible highlighters available today. I wasn't that stoked on this particular color set, but my youngest niece picked these out specifically for her Bible for Christmas, because she didn't WANT all the overly bright or pastel colored sets available. These are more Earth tones, but still do a great job. They don't bleed through delicate paper used to print many nicer Bibles today, and yet are very much permanent additions to your personal note taking. Sheerness is an important factor with Bible highlighters, as you need the ink to not make the text underneath illegible. This doesn't do that at all - it adds to the overall read, not take away by masking the text too hard to read.
