Surprisingly for the price I paid for that it would fit like a glove. Just installed this on my BMW e39 540i 2003. Easily snapped in to place with no gaps. I would buy again as a spare.

Made of a better quality than I expected and they look good. Not cheap at all. Definitely an upgrade to the stock ones for sure!!!

I ordered these to replace my broken grills on my E46. I had the chrome ones originally on the vehicle but i didn't particularly care for chrome. I wanted to change to this high gloss finish. When i received the new grills the finish is decent. I have seen the OEM gloss black and you can tell a quality difference for sure! But for the price, I'm satisfied. I didn't have any trouble installing mine like some of the reviews said the tabs broke on theirs during installation. Mine went in without problems. I also noticed a lot of reviews said the hood release lever did not fit after installation and the grills had to be modified. The lever was definitely very close to one of the fins, but I didn't have to modify my grills to make it work, just slight bent the lever over and it was good to go. All-in-all... I'm satisfied with the purchase!

I installed these matte black kidney grilles on my E39 540i M-Sport with shadowline trim and they definitely support the look. The grilles were the only thing that still had a chrome element on the entire car. I will say that the fitment isn't perfect. There are definite gaps around the edges, but let's be fair in saying that the price is right! No one else will notice (except other BMW enthusiasts) and that is fine by me until I want to spend some serious cash on a minor part.

I had purchased a set of replacement grills prior to this a few years ago and they were ill-fitting and the tabs broke. I ordered this set from Amazon I could not be happier. Perfect fit very sturdy and very secure after installation

These grilles fit perfectly for a 2003 525i BMW. I wasn't sure from the various description but took a chance. The grilles are all black but look good on the car.
