Used only four times...
I was excited about this box at first, then realized how awkward it is for the legs to be arranged how they are. The French easel style legs are reversed with two on each front side and one on back center. This has one sticking out front and center with two on the back sides. I was having to uncomfortably straddle the front leg and try to not trip over it while working. Then, on the fourth time trying to set it up, one of the telescoping legs just stopped tightening. The threaded sleeve would tighten completely, but the leg wouldn't secure. I eventually got it to stay, only for it to happen again on the fifth time with TWO of the legs. This time, I never could get them to tighten, and had to borrow another easel. They wouldn't even hold the legs in, and one slid out while walking back to my car. SO disappointed and upset that I'm out $250 because the return window has closed.EDIT: I contacted Amazon customer service to see what could be done. They accepted the return, sent me a QR code, and will refund soon after I drop it off. Thank you!

Lots of good, a little awkward
One problem with this box is there are zero instructions. I do a lot of plein air painting but I don't normally use a pochade, so although I'm familiar with the concept, I'm not familiar with a lot of the details about what the different parts of the box can be used for.I work on cradled panels, and I don't think this is set up to hold that kind of support, a flat panel might work better although the picture shows stretched canvas. That said, I did take this out and use it a little bit and I have the following impressions.First, it's all put together, there is nothing to assemble, so I found that very convenient. You just fold the legs out and telescope them out and you're all set up.The box itself is nice looking, it's smooth and well put together. It's solid. It's actually quite heavy, it's described as being 8 pounds with no supplies in it, so it's going to give your muscles a workout just to carry it around totally empty. There didn't seem to be any obvious ways to carry panels in it. It comes with a palatte (the white board) but there weren't any slots or places to keep a panel. So basically all you can carry in this is the paints and brushes. You will have to carry your support elsewhere. As others have mentioned, the leg sticking out right in the center of the box is awkward to navigate around. I didn't knock the pochade over but i can see how that would be very easy to do.There are also maybe other features of this box that I don't see, but there weren't any instructions so I just figured out what I could. All in all, it's a solid piece of equipment that has some design issues. I didn't use it long enough to see if the legs would keep working, they did work fine for me so far.

THAT 3RD LEG IN THE FRONT IS ANNOYING
because the leg is in the front you have to paint from the side if you dont mind that then this is for you . im going to try and see if i can take it apart and flip the bottom around. wish me luck

It’s absolutely perfect.
I’ve been looking for a Pochade box for a long time. This one is a perfect set up for painting on location. It leaves a lot of room in the box for supply’s, and I love how it has a towel holder and tons of room for my paints. I highly recommend this item.
