Many of the negative reviews I read mentioned the adhesive strip not sticking well, and it doesn’t. That’s not a bug, it’s a feature. The adhesive acts as a second hand for the installer. The adhesive helps to hold long enough to guide and clip the lights. Grant it I have only installed these two weeks ago so longevity may affect my review later and I will update my review as time goes on. But these lights are a much higher quality than what I actually expected for the price. They are brilliant, they are bright, and they were pretty easy to install. I recommend tapping one of your rear taillights for power, as you presumably will have Bly be using them when you headlights are already on. Be sure not to accidentally tap the reverse light in the fixture because you won’t have power unless you are in reverse. No matter how you tap or where you tap for power, you will need either a multi meter (which are expensive) or just get a cheap hot wire indicating tool, I got mine at an auto parts store for $9. The self tapping metal screws make installing pretty simple but don’t over tighten because the clamps are soft like silicone which is also on purpose. I gave this a 5 star because price for quality great. I’m just waiting to see how long they last to report back here. I hope this helps the reader of this review.

Overall, these lights are such a great value for the price.Pros:- Very bright, easy to see anything in the bed of my truck- Easy to install- They can with a decent amount of electrical wiring to be able to splice into your project- Durable, weatherproof designCons:- Anything here would just be a nitpick, these are really great.Installation Tips:- For the adhesive, prep and clean the area thoroughly. These stuck easily to the sides of my truck bed, but less so on the back of the tonneau cover box. This is because the tonneau cover box is a stippled plastic surface so its harder to adhere to. This isnt a fault of the lights in any way, and its easily solved with some epoxy or heavy duty two sided tape- Test fit the lights before you peel off the adhesive- For the electrical, make sure you use a fuse and wire it correctly! I removed the switch that came with the lights, and replaced it with a magnetic contact switch so they would turn on automatically when the tailgate was opened. You can wire these up in any way you like to switch them.Overall, these lights are great. I'm very happy with them and they've made it much easier to find things in the bed of my truck on dark nights.

Plenty bright for my 21 tundra crewmax. Ran power straight from the battery to the back. Wires everything up. Double sided tape sticks good so far under factory rails. Will not stick to bedliner material. No more dark truck bed.

Very nice strips and they are super bright. They are the perfect shade of white you want too, a perfect medium between warm and cool. they seem to stick pretty well under the bed rails but we'll see how long they hold. Also they were the perfect length for my 6.5' bed.Cons- cheap toggle switch and tiny gauge wire. Which probably isnt really a big deal to others but its personal preference.

These lights were an easy install. Now I can see into the bed of the pickup with tonneau cover closed at night. Three included strip lights fit perfectly in my RAM 3500 short bed pickup.

We have a canvas tent that sets up in the bed of the truck and this is more than expected! Quite bright! Clear white light, so far zero adhesive issues however a few of the plastic retainer clips broke on install. Wiring was simple but depending on how you route it, the power wire could stand to be a bit longer.

Great lights very bright but even after cleaning surface and using 3m adhesive promoter and blue painters tape for 2 days after tape is removed carefully they start sagging down put clips on now they sag in between clips otherwise very nice lights

I'm thrilled with how my bed lights project came out! These strips were so sturdy and well insulated that I didn't need to worry about channelling them or coming up with some fancy mounting solution. I couldn't be more impressed with the overall brightness and uniformity. I wired them in to a magnetic sensor switch and my own manual override switch for added functionality. I thoroughly enjoyed this job and it's got a factory-quality feel for sure.
