Fabulous knife set! I’m a professional chef and needed to replace our work knives. I bought this set not knowing what to expect. Loved them so much I bought them for my son in law (also a professional chef) and a 3d set for me to just have in case.

These look fantastic out of the box. The red pakkawood handles feel premium, and the blades have a nice weight and balance for the price. They arrived sharp and handled meat, veggies, and herbs like a champ.But after a few uses, I noticed a tiny bit of edge wear on the chef’s knife—not major, but worth noting if you're cooking a lot. They’ll need regular sharpening to stay top-tier. Great for home cooks, maybe not for hardcore chefs. Presentation and packaging? A+ if you’re gifting.

I was hesitant to buy these when other reviewers stated they "rust quickly". I have had my set for almost 6 months and they have not rusted one bit. Keep in mind; DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER. Like any other knife, hand wash and air dry them. It keeps them rust free and sharp.
