I was pleasantly surprised by this 40-piece essential oil set. I just purchased a diffuser, so this is a good way to try out the different essential oils. Of the 40 different essential oils, I liked A LOT about 20 of them, 10 didn't have much smell, and 10 I couldn't stand. Here's the deal: for $28, I consider that a great value. The essential oils appear to be legit, as they're labeled "thereauputic (sp) grade, they are in dark bottles, and the scientific names are included but the type on the bottle was so small that I couldn't read it. I probably won't order again from this manufacturer as they are sourced out of China, which makes me nervous, but I ordered these to get a sense of what I like, so once I determine that, I'll order from well-known suppliers in the US. As an FYI, from what I can tell, essential oils aren't regulated by the FDA (neither are vitamins and that scares me), so it's hard to really know whether these are 100 percent essential oil or not. But they appeared to be legit, with the exception of the China sourcing.Overall, a great value and a good way to start getting a feel of which essential oils I like.

i recently got into candle making, and bought a bunch of scents, but this set has been my favorite. they're really potent, mix well with soy wax, and i love all the scents, either on their own or to mix with common fruit and flower scents to get something a little headier and mature. out of all 40 scents, the only one i didn't like was basil (i don't like the idea of candles smelling like pasta, i guess). one of these little bottles is good for about a 4 to 8 ounce candle.

I love the variety! Now I know which oils I'd like to buy in larger, organic quantities. My only complaint was that in the 40-piece set, Pine was supposed to be included but it wasn't. I'm not sure which was different because I did get 40 oils. I'm addicted to the Plum Blossom and I literally can't find it anywhere 😭

First and foremost, it’s not bad for the price. If you’re looking for a wide variety of scents for cheap, then this is for you.If you’re serious about your essential oils, and plan to use these for more than simple fragrance, I’d avoid.These oils smell pretty weak, even when compared to other cheap aromatherapy graded oils like Mainstays from Walmart, and are blown out of the park by other brands marketed as organic or therapudic grade (Aromè, Plant Therapy, etc) . They never seem to last as long, or waft as far as the other oils in my diffuser either. I will give them props for the wide variety of oils, it’s a great sampler pack for someone who just wants to try a bit of everything. Personally I plan on using this pack to sample out which oils I like before moving on to purchasing higher quality products. Other than the strength, as far as I can tell some of the oils seem pretty true to their natural scent and smell nice overall.With how low the price is, I’d be concerned about the quality. I wouldn’t trust to use these on my skin or ingesting them.Overall: Great variety, but weak strength and questionable quality.

The essential oils are a tad weak. The oils do not hold a scent for more than 20-30 minutes when placed in the diffuser.

This is a great product and value for the money. I make my own candles and sprays. This kit had all the essential oils I need.

These are superb. Love the smells. Definitely worth the price and the package is perfectly protected.Highly recommend. I'm ordering some of these as gift sets for Christmas.Pic shows the size compared to a coffee pod. LOVE!
