These may be small, but work perfect for my application to mount cameras on my metal building. In my case the magnet mounting post that extends upward actually was needed to provide space inbetween the camera mount and magnet.I also plan to drill holes in my paper towel holders and mount these to the plastic paper towel holders in my shop. The current magnets are not strong enough and cause the paper towel holder to fall off my metal building surface when I pull a paper towel off. This will be nice, as they are strong and I won't be frustrated any more!This is the 2nd pack I purchased and they have lots of uses in my shop.Also I like the rubber surface, it doesn't damage my painted galvalume surface.

Good solution to add lights inside a storage container.

I bought these to hold solar panels onto the canvas bimini on my boat. I needed magnets strong enough to do that but not so strong that they interfere with the boat's compass and navigation system. After testing these and a few others, I landed on these being the right strength for the job. As a trial run, I used 6 of these on one solar panel and put a steel washer on the underside of the canvas. Using both hands I tested the holding power and would estimate it would take a 40mph wind to lift the solar panel off the bimini. At that point, I would be taking the canvas and panels down below anyway. Not only is the pull power good, but the relatively large diameter and rubber coating gives these a nice non-skid property that also helps prevent lateral movement. I have not used a scale, but sticking one of these to the side of my car, I would say the 26lb rating is accurate. These also come with nylon filled (aka aircraft style) nuts that will not come loose.

Work good but, for my situation of trying to hold up tools on work truck, they are not strong enough.

I like these so much many uses, I use them on my gun safe to support a shoe hanger I put holsters in and to hang a large size pistol (Rossi brawler) on door of safe, super solid and secure hold without holes.

I purchased these because I bought some solar light to put in my metal carport. I used two on the lights and two on the solar panel. Worked perfect, I also chose these because they were coated and wouldn’t have the chance to put maybe rust stains on the white poles. Super satisfied…

The center bolt is wide and didn’t work for what I needed it to. But the magnet has a strong hold.
