Q: How did you install it onto to the microphone stand?

The Microphone should come with a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch adapter which connects to the bottom of the microphone mount. On the bottom of the microphone itself you should be a metal ring which you should be able to remove when loosening. Place the microphone through the mount then attach the ring back onto the threads than tighten. I hope this helps 👍🏼😁

Q: how do i get it attached to boom arm stand properly I don’t want the shock mount?

You can directly install the mic on the boom arm stand by using the included 5/8" to 3/8" adapter. After screwing the adaptor to the mic mount, then you can install it on boom arm.

Q: do i need the adapter if im putting it into a shock mount?

If you put the mic into the shock mount, it doesn’t need any adapter. But you will need a 5/8'' male to 3/8'' female adapter to connect the shock mount with the boom arm, and this adapter has comes with.

Q: I am interested on this for Skype / Zoom calls, any thoughts?

Yes, it work. You just need to plug this computer mic into a Windows or Apple computer, then select it which is named as USB PnP Audio Device, as input device both under the computer sound settings and the Skype / Zoom.
