Nice variety of different types of brushes. The problem was that some of them had already been used and many were too small or thin for my purposes for buying them. Would recommend for beginning artist to try different brushes out for painting with different mediums.

I ordered these brushes because of the variety of uses. I like to paint mostly with acrylics and watercolors. I dont do oils but thought I could still use them all regardless. I'm very happy with my purchase for the price especially. I've read many reviews about how the brushes were stiff and couldn't be used. Some said they felt like they had glue on them. They are sealed with some sort of covering but I believe that's to keep them from spreading and losing their shape. I placed them in warm water with a little soap to clean away the seal. The seal washed off and are all soft, flexible and ready for use. I hope this helps solve some of the problems others are having and feel the brushes couldn't be used.

Some of the brushes had what seemed like dried glue on them.

I was a little upset because the package was torn and these are a Christmas gift. Also the brushes looked rather cheap. I try very hard not to give a bad review, but I also have to be honest to the next person that might order the product.
