Great Projector with a Great Price
I have always wanted a projector and after doing a lot of research I bought a projector and did not like it. Having said that it was not this projector, it was a totally different brand. I chose this projector as a replacement for my first projector that I returned, this one had the features that my first one lacked; such as a audio port, zoom, more HDMI ports, and as a bonus Higher lumens. I also like to pay more for good name brands, as in my experience they last longer and work better than the cheap ones. This projector was what I was looking for as my entry level projector, I did not want to go all out on my first projector. The picture is great and clear and at no point have I wished for a clearer 4K resolution, I personally do not notice the noise that comes from it as I don't think it's loud, it stays cool during operation, and it is more than bright enough to watch in a room with lights on. My first big use weekend with it was the weekend of April 13, 2024 to watch The Masters and it did well. I even set my screen up outside on a very sunny 70 degree day in northern Indiana. I set it up in a shady area and it had to be fairly close to the screen for it to be bright enough, but it worked great and I got to watch the masters outside in the great weather we were getting. I got the projector for watching movies inside and outside with my three year old and my wife and it works great for that purpose. I have not really ran my Xbox Series X or PS5 on it yet, but my Nintendo Switch worked great with it and it had no noticeable input lag with the remotes while playing Mario Cart.I would highly recommend this product especially if you are wanting to buy a name brand projector with good specs for a good price. I feel the bang for your buck here is great and I like how versatile it is. It feels quality and I am more than happy with it.FIVE STARS!

good gaming projector for 1080p purists
The media could not be loaded. this has no 4k capability whatsover, no upscaling to pretend that it runs 4k, just good, simple 1080p for those of us who don't want to fix what ain't brokei can't speak for reliability or longevity because i just got this today, but i can tell just by the smell that it runs pretty hot, so bear🐻 that in mindi'm no professional, and i don't have equipment to test this, but i can't percieve any noticable input lag in my games so farevery now and then i see a very faint artifact from the rgb not syncing up, i don't mind this at all but it's something to keep in mindi wish it had a built-in way to point it at the ceiling, but i managed to make do with what i have and i won't dock any stars because they didn't expect my ceiling shenanigans, it's still perfectly doable if you don't mind it looking kinda ghettoall in all, this is a great projector if you value performance over graphics, and i don't regret buying it one bit

We love it
So far we're very impressed. We bought this projector for the new, dedicated home theater. The projector was easy to setup and is working great for movies and my PS5.

Love this Projector
I went through multiple projectors over the past year. All of them either failed after a few weeks or just didn't have the quality I was looking for. Ive had this one for a month now using it hours everyday. This projector is probably the best mid range projector you can get without paying thousands. It also has 3D capabilities that I have been hooked on. I watch in a dark room so I can't commit on how well it will do in a lit room but it is very bright. You can also replace the bulb in it when the time comes.

Great image
This projector provides a great quality image in a dark room. I read comments that said it looked great in the daylight, but I don’t think so. I live in Florida so we get a lot of sunlight and with the blinds open it doesn’t provide that great of an image. I would recommend also getting a screen to project it on so you can get a nice crisp image. It’s not the same projecting it on the wall.

Pretty amazing for the money.
This is my third projector (over the past 20 years). My last projector was about ten years old and due for a bulb so, with all of the tech advancements, replacing it with a new unit made sense. I use a 108" (9 ft.) diagonal screen. This BenQ is very inexpensive (about 1/2 the money of my old Optoma DLP), but is MUCH brighter and the colors are more vivid. I'm running on 'ECO' mode and still had to dial the colors/brightness back a bit. The difference between the two is stunning. It also has a slightly smaller footprint. My only niggle is the dreaded 'screen door effect'. To me, it is much more pronounced here than with the Optoma (my wife doesn't see it). It could be because the picture is so much brighter/clearer. I improved it somewhat by de-focusing the picture a bit, but on certain scenes (lighter colored backgrounds, mostly) it is still pretty noticeable. If you are one of the lucky ones who doesn't see it, then this thing has a GREAT picture. This would never be mistaken for a high-end unit, but - for the money - it is reeeeally good, and a pretty huge step up from the old machine. That's not a knock on Optoma. I loved the old one. But 10-year-newer tech is hard to beat.Long story short: STUPID good for the money, buy it.
