they work just like as if you lift weights, love them!! I use these bands when travelling just for chest, biceps and triceps. You can put 2 together if you want a heavier lift, very good thick material and they seem will last for a longg time too!

I just got these today and worked out with them. I have used regular tubular bands to work out with for several years. these bands are VERY strong, much stronger and durable than tubular bands. the red band is rated for "15-30lbs" but is about as strong as a tubular band rated at 40-50lbs!.. the black is rated at30-60lbs, the purple at 60-100lbs, and the green at 100-125lbs.....dont let that fool you!, this green band is too strong to be usuable to me and Im 220lbs at 62 years old and Ive been lifting and exercising since I was 17. to use the green band you better be able to bench 350lbs+ and squat 500lbs+.. these are SERIOUS bands. I used the red on most movements and the black and purple on the heaviest exercises. Im used to having a regular tubular band last me about 3-6 months before snapping. I done see any of these snapping in less that 2-5 years of regular use....if enen then!. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!!.
