I am training a puppy and I was using a 6-foot nylon leash. When training loose-leash walking, the leash was cutting into my hand and had zero give. This is a nice, soft leash for training. Good quality leather that doesn't dry out and get crusty. The leash has a little give if the little guy (or gal) hits the end of the leash while walking and it doesn't cut my hand. A decent leash for the money.

I love the sturdiness of this leash, the strong brass snap, and the extra length to allow my 100lb male rescue Rottweiler to sniff around when he's not at heel. It has a little more 'give' than tophide leather, but it looks classy & feels nice in-hand when going on long walks! Highly recommend! I'm a professional dog trainer & I bought three more to have for handy for my clients.

I can’t say enough good things about this leather leash. We live in New Hampshire and hike daily with our 100 lb, 6 year old German shepherd who loves hiking through the forest for her daily exercise. We have always used an expensive nylon based 6 foot leash and thought we would try this this for the extra length. We absolutely love this leather leash. It feels so comfortable in our hand and the extra length gives Zola more room to explore. I can’t believe we found something so nice at this price and it’s strong/sturdy enough when she sees other dogs and starts pulling. I really love how buttery and good it feels in our hands. We’ve had it for over 6 months now and will weatherproof the leather again. It may not give Zola exactly 10 feet total but she loves the extra length too!

I received this a few days ago and have used it for walking my dog. It has a good feel and is nicely braided. The two things I have noted compared to my old leather leash are (1) the loop is not overly large so my hand will go through with a bit of effort and won't go through at all with gloves on (I am in the Midwest and it's cold as I write this) and (2) the width is not a full 3/4", rather it is more like 5/8". My prior leash was a full 3/4" (maybe more like 7/8") and the loop was larger so it felt like I had more control. I plan to still use this, but, the jury is still out on overall "keeper" status. I do not feel it to be a bad value however.

This is a beautiful leather leash, I am using this not only for an everyday leash but it’s long enough for a training leash so I’m putting this leash to work and so far it’s holding up like any good leather should.

I loves everything the feel the color my dogs attention and ability to learn. Mine never should have broke in 2 and a half months. Never tangled always kept indoors. I may try again down the road. Good effort tho!

This is one of the nicest long leads I have purchased. Love that it is all leather. I would not recommend the fake stuff. It is well made. Nice brass clip. Good leather, great price.
