So I measured before buying, but wow—it still looks so much bigger in person or maybe my room is just small. The walnut and white combo is super cute and stylish—very clean, very Pinterest.Assembly-wise, it does take a while—but if you’re paying attention and following the instructions, it’s actually pretty easy. I built the whole thing by myself, no problem (just make sure you’ve got some time and patience).Even though it’s supposed to be an L-shaped desk, I set mine up longways and it still works perfectly. Super flexible design, which I love. There’s tons of storage and surface space—drawers, shelves, and enough room for my laptop, makeup mirror, plants, and random clutter I pretend is “aesthetic.”If you want a big, functional desk that still looks cute and stylish, this one’s seriously worth it.

I really like this desk. I assembled it by myself. It took almost 5 hours because I did not rush and few vermouth in between😁. There are two options, A and B. I followed option A. However, I think I looked at B at one point and the drawers were not aligned when I tried to place them in the rails. Luckily, I was able to figure it out and removed one side to fix the issue. It is very sturdy. Pay attention to the cam locks, make sure you secure them correctly to keep the furniture sturdy.I’m happy with my desk.

Starting off by adding a few tips for those scratching their head at the instructions.1) the long bottom board of the cabinet will have a ridge that needs to line up with the ridges on the two side boards; this is your back board slot. The drawer side will be on the left of your bottom board with the ridge at the back if you’re putting it on the left of the desk (you can tell from the holes where the shorter drawer section will end up). Drawer slides will not breach the backboard ridge, obviously, so make sure you understand the front and back of each board before placing drawer slides. A colored tab where each board is front facing helps a lot when you have to flip things around for assembly. Bottom and top are REVERSE this for the right side orientation the ridge will be at the back of the cabinet so laying out the pieces and marking them first makes it go a LOT faster, specifically with the inner drawer-to-shelf wall slide direction where you don’t have the ridge to guide it.2) the pictures of the slide rails show them all the way against the back ridge. They are not so don’t bother trying. Line up the holes that ARE correctly pictured and yes, the slide rails are not exactly the same length away from the back. This is because the inner board is shorter where the backboard has to sit behind it.3) when you have the two sides and the bottom together, stand it up to let gravity slide the backboard in. Get someone to help you drop the top board on at the same time and this goes super quick, just pop the cams in to secure them.4) for cabinet door alignment, loosely secure the top and bottom hinges and use something the same height as the cabinet bottom to rest the door on to tighten them. Test that the door doesn’t rub top or bottom to know it’s on straight. A slightly crooked door makes the pop out feature less handy.4)the shelf divider goes in before you put the doors on. It’s super easy to miss when the pages stick but luckily, we caught this in time.They really need to upload a PDF for the instructions to avoid the page sticking issue. The rest of the desk was pretty simple. The bottom drawer front is impossible to get wrong but make sure you put the tapered drawer edge at the top for the others ; this is how you can get your fingers in to open them. If one is reverse, you have to open the drawer below it to grip under it. You may want to buy separate drawer pulls if this is a pain for you still. I had no issue with loose drawers that wouldn’t close all the way like some people reported. You may need to level the slides if you have issues with this (a slightly sloped floor and very loose tracks can make drawers phantom-open). The top slab and supports went easiest. When sliding it by yourself, just push or pull the cabinet, making sure the big foot is sliding with it. That end is disproportionately lightweight and will just follow as long as it can slide without snags.My only design complaint is that the inner cabinet door doesn’t open as far as I’d like so I do have to practically sit under the desk to easily look and access the cabinets. I would have liked the door to be able to open flush across the closed drawers. I also added an LED light strip with a motion sensor switch so it would illuminate it there. If I need to camp out to look, I’d rather not be feeling around in the dark!As for the look, I’m impressed that there are no ‘ugly sides’ where constructions makes that side invisible. The back and sides of the cabinet are finished in the same textured black as the visible parts so you don’t have a cheap looking side you want to hide. The top slab looks thin but it does attach to iron supports for weight support. My sister and I weren’t super precious with assembly and I winced things we’d scratch or bang it up cosmetically but no, everything came together looking unblemished. A wet cloth easily wipes away whatever styrofoam and static dust and fingerprints are left behind.Overall, a terrific buy. I was so sick of having stacked boxes serving as table space and this REALLY helped me class up my work space. I measured the space I had to put a desk and this one was so perfect, I couldn’t have found a better fit if I’d ordered custom. If you’re doing the same for a particular space, mind obstacles like air vents, outlets and other immovable elements when deciding orientation. Hopefully, this will help you feel confident if you’re thinking this desk is for you.

Beautiful, high quality, sturdy, functional! What else can I say!? We love it. Easy to put together and fit right in our space. All necessary parts were included with good instructions. So far has held up well. Would recommend highly!

I got the "Walnut and White" version. My favorite thing about this table is just how elegant it looks. The finish on the wood is amazing--you would think I paid at least $400-500 for the big slab of wood, but for the price I paid, it is a steal.I love the shelves/drawers that come with this table, I've ordered collapsible bins to line the shelves, I expect to fit 6 total in the top and bottom. This is a great option for a smaller room because the storage is compact and yet can be organized in so many ways, using bins, or for books, it can be used for clothes too.A great feature is that the table portion that sits on top of the shelves can be adjusted to whatever position you want (they provide a non-slip sticker so the table doesn't slide), or it can be fixed/screwed into the shelves so it doesn't move. It was perfect for me, because I could make enough space for my PC without it eating up table space!!Overall, it took me about 1.5-2 hours to assemble without a drill. Truthfully, I had to trust the process, because the shelving is largely held together by cam lock screws and i found it to be a little wiggly/unstable during assembly, but once everything was assembled, it feels very sturdy and I feel comfortable putting my heavy PC and other devices on it. The directions are mostly clear, but I would remember to check the orientation of pre-drilled guide holes very carefully, since this table is customizable in how its assembled. I had to reorient the drawers because I had got the shelf mounting holes on the wrong side. Other than that, the manual is clean and easy to follow. Side note: if you've never installed drawers before, you should read the manual very carefully. They explain the sliding mechanism and levers/locks.Super happy with it so far!!
